Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are undoubtedly one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. They have entertained audiences with their memorable performances, while their real-life romance has left fans gushing over their chemistry for years now. Abhishek and Aishwarya's relentless support for one another in their professional endeavors has set new standards of romance. Fans have always wondered how the relationship between two successful actors worked off-screen. In a throwback interview, Abhishek shared a unique insight into it, leaving fans surprised.
Abhishek Bachchan has always expressed his pride in his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's accomplishments. In an old interview, he was asked if he would take advice from her as he already comes from a family full of stars. In his response, Abhishek reveals that he indeed prefers to take career suggestions from his wife and gives them the same significance as the ones by his parents. In his words:
"I take Aishwarya's advice just as I take my parents' advice. They're some great actors in the house, and I do seek their advice."
The Dhoom 3 actor also revealed that just like he takes and values his wife's advice, they also consult each other when facing any dilemma. Citing an example, he revealed that when Aishwarya was offered a big Hollywood film, Pink Panther, she wasn't sure about accepting it because his grandmother was ill. Consequently, she wanted to be nearby, but the film required her to stay in another country during the shoot. However, he encouraged her to take up the wonderful opportunity that would be a great addition to her career and would give her the rare chance to work with a talented set of actors.
In the same interview, Abhishek Bachchan was asked how he and his wife manages to take time off work for the family since he and Aishwarya have hectic schedules. In his response, the actor revealed that he and the Aishwarya are good at leaving work aside and creating healthy work boundaries and discuss other things in life. He said:
"After a point, we don't discuss work at all. We like to put aside our work and just talk about other things."
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan became friends on the set Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, and their bond deepened when they starred together in Kuch Na Kaho. They worked in more films and fell in love with other. Later, Abhishek popped the question to Aishwarya in New York, and they got married in a traditional ceremony on April 20, 2007. After their marriage, they continued to share screen space in more films like Guru and Raavan. The couple later welcomed a daughter, Aaradhya, in 2011. They have been happily married for years now. In the last few months, rumours about their separation made headlines, but the couple's appearances together have brushed it off.
