Sweet is the voice of a sister in the season of sorrows, and wise are the words of a brother that always counsel us! Well, there is no love stronger than that of a brother and her sister, and no matter what the world might say – it becomes stronger with time. An exactly similar relationship is shared between the siblings of the powerful Bachchan family – Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Nanda Bachchan. On March 18, 2019, when Shweta ringed in her 45th birthday, her birthday, Abhishek re-visited the good old childhood days. He flipped through the family pictures and posted an adorable picture with baby Shweta on his Instagram handle. Along with the picture, he wrote, “Happy birthday to the big sis! Thankfully, my hand-mouth coordination has improved since then!!! Have a wonderful day and an ever better year, Shwetdi. Love you.”

While we cannot get over with the cutesy throwback picture, we got hold of another picture of the brother-sister duo from the good old days and it definitely gave us 90’s nostalgia. In the picture, we can see a younger version of Abhishek and Shweta, who was on the verge of becoming a style icon. Check out the picture below:
Recently, when the power-sibling graced the Koffee couch at Karan Johar’s show, Koffee With Karan season 6, they revealed lots of family secrets and inside jokes. On the same show, junior Bachchan had confessed that his father, Amitabh Bachchan is more fond of Shweta as compared to him. And Shweta revealed how her mother, Jaya Bachchan’s favourite child has always been Abhishek.
In the same interview, she had revealed her equation with Aishwarya and the thing she loves about her. During the rapid fire round, Shweta had said, “She is a self-made strong woman and a fantastic mother.” Well, she definitely shut the mouths of all the gossipmongers, who often makes speculation on their nanad-bhabhi relationship. Shweta’s style of fashion has always been on point and her writing has always made a point. In 2017, the starlet had penned an emotional letter in her celebrity column for DNA. It can be read as, “Well into my 40s, I’m still wading in the shallow end, not deep enough to start worrying about hot flashes and sweats, but I know it’s well within my reach, I start thinking if I’m going through something or the other. By the time I am home, I’m convinced. If there is a “female midlife crises” I am in the throes of it.” (Don't Miss: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Throwback Picture Before Her 'Miss World' Days Goes Viral On The Internet)
But what took our attention was when she wrote, “Symptomatic of a midlife crises, could very well be. In my head, I’m as vibrant as a 16 year old, delusional, yes, do I want to change it? Absolutely not! I wear distressed jeans and watch YouTube videos on contouring. When we travel abroad together, people mistake my daughter and me for sisters — I love telling them my age, my daughter is cringing, jabbing me in the ribs and asking me to ‘calm down’.”
However, the highlight of the whole write-up was when she pens, “Act your age, not your waist size; for the first time in so many years I don’t care about the waist size, so no! Keep your advice to yourself! I don’t want to be young (who wants to go back to being at odds with yourself and the world desperate for acceptance) nor am I fighting my age, I’m just embracing myself and what better time than now? Imagine shaking off all that old restrictive ill-fitting skin, that’s what middle age is like — a brand new old you.” (Don't Miss: Aishwarya Had Manglik Dosh, So She'd To Marry A Tree; Here Are Other Ways To Get Rid Of It)
