Further, in the same interview, Dabboo revealed that Abhishek asked him for the poses as he didn't know how to hold a girl or pose for a photoshoot. However, the ace photographer mentioned that since then, Aishwarya and Abhishek have done many photoshoots together and gradually they got more comfortable. Dabboo continued:
“I made them pose together for the first time. So, he (Abhishek) was asking me for poses, ‘How do I do?’ Because he was also new. So, he said, ‘How do I pose with a girl? I’ve not done this before.' This was before they were going out. Abhishek was a thorough gentleman. He is like a very proper gentleman, so he was awkward the first time to pose with a girl and how to hold her and stuff like that. Initially, I remember he was asking me for ideas. Of course, it was a schedule of a movie, so it was the first day, and after that, we shot a lot together and obviously got more comfortable.”
Earlier, in a podcast with YouTuber, Ranveer Allahbadia, Abhishek Bachchan recalled his memory of the time, when he first met Aishwarya Rai. He revealed that he was a production boy for his father, Amitabh Bachchan's film, Mrityudaata, when he first met Aishwarya, who was shooting for her debut Hindi film, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. He added that it was his childhood friend, Bobby Deol, who introduced him to his Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya co-star, Aishwarya Rai. Finally when asked if he had a crush on Aishwarya back then, Abhishek admitted and said:
"I first met her when I was a production boy. There was a film my father was making called 'Mrityudata', and I had gone for the location recce to Switzerland, because the company felt that because I had grown up in Switzerland in boarding school that I would be able to take them to nice locations. I had been there for a couple of days, all alone. And that's when a childhood friend of mine, Bobby Deol, was shooting for Aur Pyar Ho Gaya. And he got to know I was there, and said 'Hey, why don't you come over for dinner?' And that's the first time, when they were shooting, when I met Aishwarya. Who doesn't crush on her? I mean, come on, come on."

Abhishek and Aishwarya have been married for more than a decade. However, it was only during the pandemic, when Abhishek and Aishwarya got to spend the entire year with one another due to no work schedules. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Abhishek spoke about how his wife, Aishwarya, gave him a valuable perspective towards life during the lockdown and taught him a valuable lesson. He was quoted as saying:
"As all wives do, they put your lives into focus, they put you back on track. She said yeah but put it this way, 'For the first time in your life you got to spend the entire year with your family. And your family is safe and healthy today'. And it's so true. We get to do what we love and go back to a healthy and happy family. That’s successful. It doesn’t matter if you are living in a mansion or a hut. As long as you can smile or put a smile on the face of your loved ones what else matters?"
