You will be shocked to know that Abhishek, along with his dad, Amitabh, had rented the ground floor of their Juhu bungalow, Vatsa and Ammu, to the State Bank of India (SBI) since 2021. Junior Bachchan gets rent in lakhs, which will shock you.
Junior Bachchan had leased his Juhu property near Amitabh's landmark home, Jalsa, at Juhu Vile Parle Development Scheme to the State Bank Of India. The lease agreement reportedly was registered on September 28, 2021 for 15 years. SBI pays the actor Rs. 18.90 lakh monthly rent. This would be for 15 years, with a rental escalation after five years. Abhishek would then get a rent of Rs. 23.6 lakh, which would rise after five years to Rs. 29.53 lakh. SBI had already paid the actor deposit of Rs. 2.26 crore, down to the total rent for a year.
Abhishek has rented the ground floor property of his prime bungalows, Vatsa and Ammu, to SBI. The total spread of the bungalow is around 3,150 sq. ft as it is centrally located in the posh Juhu area which makes it a prime locale. Earlier, reportedly, the property was leased to Citibank for many years, but when the lease ended in 2019, the bank vacated. The Juhu Vile Parle Development Scheme area has all high-end flats and properties of varied kinds. Amitabh and Abhishek's marquee property is located right next to the megastar's home and is a prominent spot in Juhu.
For those who do not know, the JVPD scheme area is one of the posh places where the homes of Bollywood stars like Dharmendra, Anil Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Sunny Deol, Shatrughan Sinha and Rohit Shetty are situated.
According to a report by Money Control, it was in December 2020 when Big B purchased a 5,184 sq ft property in Mumbai that cost Rs. 31 crore. He had taken in a project by Atlantis that was developed by Crystal group. The registration of the property was done in April 2021, and the actor paid stamp duty amounting to Rs. 62 lakh. Junior Bachchan reportedly had also sold an apartment for Rs. 45.75 crore.

The property was 7,527 sq ft and was on the 37th floor of the Oberoi 360 West project. The property was in Worli, and registration was completed on August 10, 2021. The apartment had parking areas for four cars and reportedly was sold to a man named Anurag Goyal. He had paid stamp duty of Rs. 2.28 crore.
The actor had purchased six flats for Rs. 15.42 crore in Borivali. He had invested in the Oberoi Sky City project done by Oberoi Realty. He purchased RERA carpet of 4,894 sq ft at Rs. 31,498 per sq ft price. The six apartments are on the 57th floor of the high-rise posh building.
