Abhishek Bachchan was seen at the opening of the second season of Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) 2025. The actor has been loving cricket since years and is also the co-investor of the European T20 Premiere League. Videos of the actor attending the opening ceremony of ISPL season 2 immediately went viral. However, what caught the attention of the fans was the costly, unique watch that the actor had worn. Junior Bachchan wore a watch with the motif of the famous Ayodhya Ram Mandir, which depicted Lord Hanuman and Ram.

Abhishek was seen wearing the watch titled Epic X Ram Janmabhoomi Titanium Edition 2, which has been designed by the famous brand Jacob & Co. The exquisite and exclusive watch screams luxury and talks about the rich Indian history. The dial has a detailing of the 'Ayodhya Ram Mandir' along with engraved inscriptions of 'Jai Shri Ram'. The belt of the watch is saffron in colour and comes at a whooping cost of Rs. 34 lakh. 

The watch has been created in collaboration with Ethos Watches, and as per a Republic Digital report, only 49 pieces are available for global sale. The design of Abhishek's watch reportedly has a temple design at 9'o clock, and an image of 'Lord Ram' and 'Hanuman' at 3'0 clock. The phrase 'Jai Shri Ram' is written at 6'0 o'clock, giving the watch a total spiritual connection.

The 2024 inauguration season of the ISPL had taken India by storm. Many celebrities bid for their teams and it also saw veteran cricketers. Abhishek, along with his dad, Amitabh, has been backing the Majhi Mumbai team. The duo have often been seen at the matches. Abhishek also met 'Master Blaster', Sachin, who has been an important part of the tournament.

During an interview with the press, Sachin shared that he has been excited for the second season of ISPL. He also shared that young players get the platform to show their cricket skills. Abhishek who is a sports lover said:

"Cricket isn't simply for playing an apt simile, similar to an important feeling that brings us together. I'm very glad to be here and see how excited these young ones are to play."

Abhishek Bachchan's 'Majhi Mumbai' team wins

Junior Bachchan is the proud owner of the Majhi Mumbai cricket team, which recently won against the tigers of Kolkata. This was during the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), season 2. The actor had taken to his Instagram handle to share a couple of snaps from the match. In one of the snaps, he shared the frame with Sachin, while in the other, he was celebrating his team's win. Abhishek was on cloud nine when his team won and he penned:

"Celebrating the sport, the win and the boys at @majhimumbai_ispl.”

On the work front, the actor was last seen in Shoojit Sircar's I Want To Talk, which revolved around a man called Arjun Sen, who was fighting cancer and had a complex bond with his daughter.
