Taking to her IG handle, the writer of 'When Love Stops Being Easy', Heena Khandelwal issued a statement and reacted to the uproar which was caused by Abhishek Bachchan's like on her post. She mentioned that it's a huge achievement for any writer or journalist if their work gets picked up well, and when Abhishek Bachchan liked her post, she, out of happiness, had highlighted the same on her IG story, and she knows nothing about the actor's personal life.

Heena also added that a 'single like' of Abhishek Bachchan has been stretched out outside. She added that while the actor doesn't need her to defend him, now she feels a bit disheartened to highlight the actor's like on her IG story, which raised eyebrows and contributed to the whole clamour around the actor and his personal life. She further clarified that those who didn't even hit up the like button on the post had reached out to her and appreciated her work.

The post was actually a glimpse of the article about 'grey divorce', and it was liked by Abhishek Bachchan. This left netizens firmly believing that something was surely not well between him and his wife, Aishwarya. After a lot of gossip around the same, it was learned that the article was contributed by Zirak Marker, who is one of Aishwarya's closest friends.
