Abhishek Bachchan Gives Marriage Advice To Ranbir Kapoor In Old Video, Kartik Reacts, 'Don't Marry'

Bollywood actor, Abhishek Bachchan has been leading the headlines for his personal life for some time now. For those unaware, the actor is reportedly heading for a divorce from his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, almost after 17 years of marriage. Amid this, Abhishek also liked a post about the difficulties of divorce, which ignited speculation about his relationship status with Aishwarya. 

Abhishek Bachchan gives marriage advice to Ranbir Kapoor

Amid the ongoing speculation about Abhishek and Aishwarya's divorce, we got hold of a throwback video of the former offering marriage advice to Ranbir Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan. The video, which has resurfaced on social media, was from the time when Ranbir got married to Alia Bhatt. In the candid conversation, when Abhishek was asked to give marriage advice to Ranbir, he straightforwardly said:

“He doesn’t need advice. Look, he decided to get married, she decided to marry him because they are in love with each other, and that’s the only thing that matters. Love each other, respect each other… that’s what matters.”

Kartik Aaryan jokingly reveals he was asked not to marry

Ranbir interrupted Abhishek and jokingly mentioned that they should give marriage advice to Kartik Aaryan instead. Back then, Kartik was rumoured to be dating his Shehzada co-star, Kriti Sanon. Reacting to Ranbir's statement, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor quipped:

“They were saying don’t marry.” 

For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot with Alia Bhatt in April 2022, and the video was taken from his first football match after marriage. Talking about the same, Abhishek mentioned that they perform some traditions when a newly wedded member joins them for a match and that they would do the same with Ranbir. The Raavan actor added:

“We’re truly brothers in arms, we take care of our own. Now we’re planning for him.”

Netizens' reactions to Abhishek Bachchan giving marriage advice

Now that the video has resurfaced online, it has sparked a flurry of reactions from the netizens. They flooded the post's comment section and pointed out how Abhishek should be the last person to give marriage advice, as his own relationship with Aishwarya has reportedly hit rock bottom. They slammed the actor for trying to be wise while he couldn't even sustain his marriage to the love of his life, Aishwarya, with whom he shares a daughter, Aaradhya.
