Abhishek Bachchan Says He Gets Nervous When Aishwarya Says 'I Want To Talk', 'You're In Trouble'

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are among the most loved couples in Bollywood. The successful actors who shared the screen space multiple times fell in love while working together and created an inspiring love story for their fans to reminisce about after 17 years of their marriage. The couple prefers to keep their personal life private but often shares fun insights from their marital life that leave the internet gushing over their bond. In a recent award show appearance, Abhishek again shared how his wife, Aishwarya, makes him nervous and leaves everyone in splits. Here's what happened.

Abhishek Bachchan recently attended the Reels Showsha Awards, where he won the Best Actor (Jury) award due to his impressive performance in Shoojit Sircar's I Want To Talk. In the film, Abhishek portrayed the role of an emotional father dealing with a terminal illness exceptionally well. When the actor came on stage to accept his award for the performance, the host for the night, Arjun Kapoor, intervened and asked:

"Who is that one person who, when they say, 'Abhishek, I want to talk,' makes you nervous?"

Abhishek Bachchan gave a fun twist to his answer by shedding some light on his marriage life and, in turn, mentioned that since Arjun isn't married, so he can't understand it. If he was a husband, he would definitely know the answer to his question. He shared that whenever his wife, Aishwarya, calls him and shares that she wants to talk with him, it's a sign that he is in trouble. In his words: 

"When your wife calls and says, 'I want to talk,' you immediately know you're in trouble!"

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been vocal about their love story. They have never shied away from expressing their admiration and gratitude towards one another. But, they subtly kept the rumours to rest by making multiple public appearances together as a couple and family. They last graced Aishwarya starrer Jodhaa Akbar fame filmmaker, Ashutosh Gowariker's son, Konark's wedding, where the duo stunned in white outfits.

Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in Shoojit Sircar's I Want To Talk, but the film failed to make at impact on the box office. He will be seen in Remo D'Souza's Be Happy, co-starring Inayat Verma, Nora Fatehi, and Nassar. The actor also has the multistarrer, Housefull 5 with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Sanjay Dutt and more. At the same time, Abhishek Bachchan is rumoured to be a part of Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan's starrer King.
