Aamir Khan’s most recent film, Sitaare Zameen Par has been generating a lot of buzz since the day of its release. The film has received a lot of love from fans and other celebrities. Viewers are in love with the plot of the film and the way it is presented. Recently, Aamir Khan reacted to getting so much love from people.

Aamir Khan’s film, Sitaare Zameen Par hit the theatres on June 20, 2025, and since then it is winning hearts. Recently, Aamir Khan was spotted and had a candid conversation with the paparazzi. The video of the same was uploaded by Buzzzookaprime on their Instagram handle. In the heartfelt reel shared, Aamir Khan evidently looked very grateful and touched by the love fans were giving to his film. With the biggest smile and an emotional tone he said, “I am very happy and grateful. More than me, those ten ‘sitaare’ are excited as this is their film and it is a superhit. We are very grateful.” He also mentioned that the President also saw the film and appreciated it. In his words:

“Bohot khushi ho rahi hai mujhe ki film ko itna accha response mil raha hai, itna pyaar mil raha hai aur behad khushi ho rahi hai mujhe, especially main itna khush hu jo apne 10 sitaare hai na, wo itne excited hai ki unhone pehli film ki aur wo film superhit ho gayi toh itni khushi ho rahi hai. Aaj President sahiba ne dekhi film, unko bhi bohot pasand aayi toh we are very happy, we are very grateful. Thank you so much!”

About the film, Sitaare Zameen Par

The film, Sitaare Zameen Par is about a basketball coach (played by Aamir Khan), who is suspended and as a punishment, he is asked to train a group of neurodivergent people. First, he is hesitant towards it but slowly, he starts to bond with the team. With a supportive wife with him, 'Sunita' (played by Genelia Deshmukh), he teaches them basketball and they teach him friendship and kindness. While training him, he also discovers a new perspective. The film shows how everyone is unique and beautiful in their own way. 

Aamir Khan’s surprise visit in the theatre

Aamir Khan left fans amazed when he made a surprise visit to a Mumbai theatre which was screening Sitaare Zameen Par. He was accompanied by the debut actors, who played the role of neurodivergent team in the film. In the surprise visit, Aamir sweetly asked the audience, "Kaisi lagi bhai film?", the audience replied with a loud cheer and claps. He then introduced the cast and crew members and very sweetly appreciated the debut actors, calling them the "heart and soul" of the film. His surprise visit was loved by the fans, because it made their film experience even more special. A video of the same is also uploaded on YouTube by Aamir Khan Talkies.
