Aamir Khan Reveals How He Managed To Hide Relationship With Gauri Spratt, 'Aap Log Miss Kar Dete Ho'

Aamir Khan gave a surprise to all his fans on his 60th birthday when he introduced his ladylove, Gauri Spratt, to the media. He held a press conference at Mumbai's Taj Lands End, Bandra, on March 13, 2025 and announced that he is dating Gauri. In the same interaction, the actor also revealed that he has been dating Gauri for the past 18 months now.

Aamir Khan revealed how he hid his relationship with Gauri Spratt

There were reports doing rounds since February that Aamir was dating a woman. But Aamir has kept his relationship with her under wraps. The actor, while introducing his ladylove, Gauri, jokingly remarked, "Dekha kuch bhi pata nahi chalne diya maine tum logo ko". In the same interaction, Aamir revealed how he managed to hide his relationship with Gauri and said:

“For one, she lives in Bangalore, or lived there till recently. So, I would fly down to meet her, and the media scrutiny is less there. So we stayed under the radar.”

Going further in the interaction, Aamir also quipped that even in Mumbai, the media didn’t get to know. Taking a jibe at his popularity as compared to other celebs, Aamir shared that the media focus on his home is less as compared to other celebs. In his words:

“Mere ghar pe focus thoda kam hai. Aap log miss kar dete ho.”

Gauri Spratt has not seen Aamir Khan’s films

Do you know Gauri has seen only two movies of Aamir Khan? Yes, since she grew up in Bangalore, her exposure to cinema was different, and despite having known Aamir for over 25 years, she never thought of him as a superstar. Gauri also has a Tamilian mom, her father is Irish, and her grandfather is also a freedom fighter. Gauri also has a six-year-old son, and Aamir shared that his family has been warm and accepted Gauri. She also has been introduced to Salman and Shah Rukh Khan.

Aamir Khan’s previous marriages

Aamir Khan was earlier married to Reena Dutta in 1986, and later, in 2002, they parted ways, but they stayed cordial for their two children, Ira and Junaid. Later, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao fell in love with each other. Kiran worked as an assistant director, while Aamir was the lead in the iconic film, Lagaan. After a few years of dating, the couple tied the knot in 2005. After eleven years of marital bliss, Aamir and Kiran announced their separation with a joint statement.
