After Dismissing Relationship Buzz, Aamir Ali Spotted Holding Hands With 'Mystery Girl', Ankita

Sanjeeda Shaikh’s ex-husband and actor, Aamir Ali, recently grabbed attention after being spotted leaving a movie theatre hand-in-hand with his rumoured girlfriend, Ankita Kurketi. Although Aamir had previously denied dating rumours, their latest public appearance has reignited speculation about their relationship.

Aamir Ali was seen holding hands with a ‘mystery girl’

In a recent video shared by Viral Bhayani, Aamir Ali was seen coming out of a movie theatre holding hands with a ‘mystery girl’. The actor looked comfy in a white T-shirt, cream-hued pants, and a matching shirt worn as a jacket. His companion, previously confirmed to be Ankita Kurketi, was dressed in a mini black bodycon dress and matching high heels. While Aamir never confirmed whether they were dating, their frequent public appearances have fuelled the buzz.

Aamir Ali seemingly dismissed his relationship buzz with Ankita Kurketi

During the past few months, rumours were rife that Aamir Ali could be romantically involved with Ankita Kurketi, especially after the actor revealed that he gave love another chance after his divorce from Sanjeeda Shaikh. However, Aamir dismissed the claims by explaining that he never really mentioned anyone’s name when he confessed to having found love again. Taking to his Instagram stories, Aamir wrote:

"When speculations and rumours become my quote. A while back I spoke about love and how I believe in it, not confirming about any person. It's been carried everywhere as if I've quoted it. I spoke about how I'm getting to know someone, never have I confirmed anyone's name."

When Aamir Ali confirmed being in love again

Aamir and Sanjeeda, who once used to be a much-loved couple in the television industry, ended their marriage in 2021. In February 2025, the 43-year-old actor admitted to having found love again. Speaking to ETimes, he shared:

"I'm getting to know somebody after a long time. Everybody deserves love. Of course, someone had to move on before anything happened, and someone is moving on now. I'm in a happy space, as I get to know her closely and nicely. It feels different. It feels good."

In the same interview, Aamir Ali shared that although he once felt incapable of loving again, he surprisingly found love with someone within a week and instantly realised she was the one for him. He was quoted as saying:

"Somewhere deep down inside I realised I was struggling with my heart. Sometimes you feel everything is normal, but then you don't know what is going on. Last year I was meeting a lot of people but the minute something happens, I run away. I started thinking, 'I don't think I'm capable enough (to love) anymore. And then this happened. It all happened in a week's time. I was like - Why am I behaving like this? Why am I being a little more emotional than normal? Then I realised I like this girl.”

Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh's love story that ended in divorce

Aamir Ali met Sanjeeda Shaikh in 2007 on the sets of Kya Dill Mein Hai. After dating and winning Nach Baliye, they married in 2012 and welcomed a daughter via surrogacy in 2018. Following their 2021 divorce, Sanjeeda became a single parent, and Aamir was denied access to his daughter.
