KBC17: 10-Year-Old Boy Misbehaves With Host, Amitabh Bachchan, Internet Praises The Actor's Patience
In the recent episode of KBC 17, a 10-year-old boy misbehaved with the host, Amitabh Bachchan, which made netizens angry.
Amitabh Bachchan’s game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, has been one of the most favourite shows on Indian television. The veteran actor has been hosting the show for many years now and is hailed for his warmth towards the contestants. He also hosts the junior version of the show, and its 17th edition was recently aired.
A 10-year-old boy misbehaves with Amitabh Bachchan
The popular game show has recently grabbed attention for all the wrong reasons. The 17th edition of the show featured a 10-year-old contestant, Ishit Bhatt from Gujarat. However, instead of charming the host and audience with his innocence, Ishit grabbed attention for his arrogance and overconfidence.
As soon as Ishit sat on the hot seat, he immediately told the 83-year-old host, Amitabh Bachchan, that he knows the rules so the host shouldn't start explaining them. Stunned by his response, Amitabh touches his forehead. Not just this, he interrupted Mr Bachchan multiple times and didn’t even let him finish the question. Most of the time, he didn’t even wait for the options and straight away revealed the answer.
Ishit Bhatt didn’t win a single money
It was the Rs. 25,000 question about Ramayana which confused Ishit. When the options were presented to him, in his usual over-confident way, he gave the answer quickly without even thinking once. When Mr Bachchan reconfirmed his answer, he arrogantly said, “Arre lock karo”. However, the answer Ishit gave was wrong, and despite being so confident about his game, he didn’t win a single penny and went home empty-handed.
Social media hails Amitabh Bachchan’s patience
Mr Bachchan was also taken aback by Ishit Bhatt’s behaviour but chose to remain silent and kept his calm. As soon as the video made its way onto social media, netizens couldn’t stop reacting to Ishit’s arrogant and rude behaviour. One of the users wrote, “Very satisfying ending! Not saying this about the kid, but the parents. If you can't teach your kids humility, patience, and manners, they turn out to be such a rude, overconfident lot. Not winning a single rupee will surely pinch them for a long time.”

This was the first time that a contestant misbehaved with Amitabh Bachchan on the show. Many users pointed out the parents’ upbringing for not pointing out the child’s mistake. On the other hand, many users heaped praises on the veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan, for being composed despite the child's misbehaviour and handling the situation with maturity.
