IPL 2025 has kept the cricket fanatics glued to their seats. Well, it was on April 28, 2025, when 14-year-old cricketer, Vaibhav Suryavanshi left people jumping out in joy as he smashed massive 6s during a match between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans. The young cricketer ruled the cricket ground like a king, and there's no denying the fact. The entire cricket fanbase has been heaping praises on the young professional. Now, an old video of him made rounds on social media, when he was only 10 years old. And his dedication level surely deserves a bow down.

For the unversed, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was signed by Rajasthan Royal for Rs. 1.10 crore during the IPL auction last year. He hails from Bihar and made his debut on April 19, 2025, against Lucknow Super Giants. Not only did Vaibhav put up a massive show for the cricket fans, but he also broke the records as he scored 101 only out of 38 balls, which is the second fastest century in the history of IPL. Well, after his massive achievements, the internet has been going gaga over him and searching every possible detail about the talented individual on the web. Amid this, a video of Vaibhav went viral, wherein he was seen practising on his terrace. Reportedly, the video was from the lockdown, when Vaibhav was only 10 years old. The dedication he was seen putting in the old video justifies his outstanding performance in IPL.

In a video from IPL, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was seen talking about his feelings after his oh-so-SMASHING performance. He shared that he was feeling good as hard work finally paid off. He shared how his parents backed him so that he could achieve his dreams. Talking more about his parents' contribution, Vaibhav revealed that his mom would sleep for only three hours and wake up at 2 a.m. as he had to go to practice.

Vaibhav shared that his mom would make him food, and even his dad left his work to support his son's dream even when the family was going through a rough phase financially. Vaibhav revealed that God never unsees those who put in effort and work hard, and as he did the same the results are slowly reflecting. Vaibhav credited his parents for wherever he is today.

During the conversation after the match, Vaibhav was asked about his feelings about hitting massive 6s and 4s in the balls of professional and even international cricketers. To this, he said that he doesn't put much thinking about whom he's playing against rather, he just watches the balls and swings his bat, and this one life is enough to speak volumes about his abilities. He was further asked how it would feel when everyone would be talking about him and would be envious of him. To this, Vaibhav added that his focus is on the game now and he doesn't think much, rather he's happy that he could achieve his dream of smashing a 100 in IPL.
