Zubeen Garg, one of the famous singers, passed away at the age of 52 after he reportedly fell into the sea during a scuba diving mishap in Singapore, where he was to perform at the North East India Festival. The singer's contribution to the music industry is unmatched, and he was famous for his songs in Hindi, Bengali and Assamese languages. His passing has left a hollow in the hearts of his fans, and it's unimaginable what kind of pain his family members must be going through. Recently, a glimpse of his family made rounds on social media, and everyone looked shattered, especially his wife, Garima Saikia.
According to the reports, Zubeen Garg was attempting to scuba dive when he fell into the sea and was immediately taken to the hospital. Following this, he was announced dead. Reportedly, he suffered a heart attack in the water, which claimed his life. His mortal remains were reportedly sent for a post-mortem, and after that, his body will reportedly be sent to Assam for his funeral and last rites.
Recently, a photo of Zubeen's wife, Garima Saikia, had circulated on social media, and she appeared heartbroken. In that glimpses, Garima looked teary-eyed, and it was a heartbreaking sight to witness. Garima and Zubeen got married in 2002, and they had been together for all these years, until death parted them. In another glimpse, Zubeen's furbaby could also be visible, and he, too, was crying.
Zubeen Garg's wife, Garima Saikia, is from Assam. Garima completed her B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, after which she explored writing, editing, and blogging while completing her internship at CPWD. Currently, she is an Assamese costume designer, film producer, and creative professional who has also made significant contributions to Assamese and regional Indian cinema. Some of the movies she took part in include Kanchanjangha, Sikaar, and Mission China, where she collaborated with her husband, Zubeen. The singer also had a desire to do more films, which he would eventually fulfil, after Mission China.
Zubeen Garg and Garima Saikia's love story was realistic but had its own fairytale vibes, with destiny entwined. Zubeen had confessed to having many girlfriends while travelling from one place to another, and later, he met Garima, a fan, through a letter. Garima was in awe of Zubeen's two albums, Anamika and Maya, and wrote him a letter.

Destiny had its plan ready, and Garima got a reply from Zubeen, and their romance began. The couple started dating, and Zubeen proposed to Garima. Like every relationship, Garima and Zubeen had their fair share of ups and downs, as reportedly, her father didn't agree to their relationship. However, when they overcame this and officially started dating, Garima found it hard to cope with Zubeen's restless behaviour and called it quits. Later, Zubeen fell into depression, and after a while, they found their ways back to each other and got married in 2002.
We wish strength to Zubeen's family and friends to deal with the tough time.
