Russell Mehta's daughter, Shloka Mehta, married Akash Ambani in 2019, bringing the two powerful families even closer. Akash and Shloka welcomed a baby boy, Prithvi, and a daughter, Veda and completed their family. Shloka is the eldest daughter of Russel Mehta, and his wife, Mona Mehta.

The Mehta family have their name established in the diamond industry. Russell Mehta leads Rosy Blue India, a top diamond trading and manufacturing company, which is known globally.

Russell Mehta’s wife, Mona Mehta, is also involved in their family business and is a popular jewellery designer. Shloka Mehta has two siblings. Her elder brother, Viraj Mehta who handles their family's diamond business and Shloka’s younger sister, Diya Mehta who is a fashion consultant and also plays a crucial role in managing their family business affairs. Anant Ambani, the younger son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, tied the knot with Radhika Merchant in 2024. Viren Merchant, Radhika's father, is the CEO of a popular pharmaceutical company, Encore Healthcare Private Limited, which provides online and offline healthcare services. He is also the director of many big Indian companies, ZYG Pharma Private Limited, Saidarshan Business Centres Private Limited and a few others. 

His wife, Shaila Merchant, is the Managing Director of Encore Healthcare. She is also a leading name in the business world and holds directorial positions in many big ventures. Their daughter and Radhika’s sister, Anjali Merchant is the co-founder of Turn The Campus and Dryfix. Merchant’s net worth is about Rs. 755 crore, and Encore Healthcare is valued at Rs. 2000 crore.

The Piramals have a net worth of Rs. 34,898 crore, the Mehtas have a net worth of Rs. 1,844 crore and the Merchants have a net worth of Rs. 755 crore. So according to numbers, the richest amongst them is the Piramals (Isha Ambani’s in-laws). However, not to forget, Mukesh Ambani, himself has a net worth of over Rs. 9.2 lakh crores, which is more than all the in-law families combined.
