Who is Terence Crawford’s girlfriend?

Crawford’s girlfriend, Alindra Person, has been in a relationship with the boxer for over 20 years, though the two have kept much of their relationship private. She was born on January 3, 1991, in Chicago and later moved with her family to Omaha, Nebraska, in 2003, the same city where Crawford grew up.

Person and Crawford first met as teenagers in Omaha in the early 2000s, and the two have been linked ever since. While in the initial days, she wasn’t overly impressed with his boxing ambitions. Speaking to ESPN in 2019, Person herself admitted:

“When we met, I thought he had a job.”

Fast forward two decades, and Crawford is considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, and Person has been there through it all, becoming a constant presence at Crawford’s fights, keeping a close eye on him from the ringside with their children.

They are parents to six children

In the years that Terence Crawford and Alindra Person have stayed together, they have built a bustling family with their six children. They are parents to three sons, Terence Jr, T. “Be they self… Be a leader, not a follower. You know, I think that’s the best advice that I can give my kids because in today’s society, everybody is copying everybody. Everybody want(s) to be, you know, these social media kids, and they gravitate to their friends and want to do the things that their friends do. And I just want my kids to be like I was when I was young.”

Crawford had a near-fatal incident during Person’s first pregnancy

Whenever he describes his life-changing moments, Crawford describes two key turning points in his life. One was when he was shot in the head and had a death scare, and the other special moment was when Alindra became pregnant with their first child. 

In a previous interview with HBO, the boxer cited the two incidents, describing how they changed his life. Admitting how fatherhood has been the ‘greatest thing that could have happened’ to him, the boxer recalled the shooting accident when he was in a car. He shared:

“It happened so fast, you know. I got hit with the first shot in the back of my head. Well, the doctor said that the window had slowed it down… it just hit me and bounced out. That was just a wake-up call…  Then, when my girl got pregnant, that was a whole other turning point. To me, being a father is the greatest thing that could have happened to me.”

Are Crawford and Person married?

Over the years, Alindra has often been described as the boxer’s wife, but the pair have never been married. In fact, in June 2025, Crawford mentioned on Instagram that he is ‘single’ and has ‘never been married’, leaving fans speculating about the current status of their relationship. The post that raised eyebrows was:

“Look, I am single, so please stop saying I’m married because I (have) never been married or (ask) where my wife at.”

While these are just speculations, none have addressed anything about the same. She has also been a long fixture at his fights, sitting ringside with their children, sharing supportive posts on social media, and travelling across the world with Crawford. Away from the boxing spotlight, she’s a devoted mother and enjoys travelling, often documenting trips to places like Bali, Thailand, and Dubai.
