In 2011, Thomas became a convicted criminal after he was found guilty of handling stolen goods worth around 40,000 euros, which is around USD 51,000, through his market trading business, along with possessing 2,000 diazepam tablets. Although, earlier Thomas maintained that he was unaware of the stolen items, he later confessed about his arrest on social. Taking to X handle (previously known as Twitter) on July 30, 2025, he wrote:
"I was arrested in 2011, and I’d be the first to admit I made a lot of mistakes growing up. I’m not proud of it, but I’ve learned from it."
Thomas Skinner crossed paths with the love of his life, Sinead Chambers, at a London bar in 2018. After two years, the duo got engaged. In May 2022, the couple got married. The two shared three children together. A son, Henry, born in October 2020, who is now four years old, and identical twin daughters, Darla and Roma, born in June 2023, who are now two years old.
In a recent interview with The Sun, Thomas Skinner revealed a dark chapter of his life. He admitted that he cheated on his wife, Sinead, soon after they got married in May 2022. Thomas shared he met a 35-year-old woman named Amy-Lucy O’Rourke, in a London pub and described her as an 'attractive' lady. Amy ran a beauty clinic and offered him free cosmetic treatments in exchange for publicity. Thomas revealed that it was a two-week fling, where they had a lot of conversations. However, now Thomas calls it the 'biggest mistake' of his life. The duo also slept together during this period.
Thomas mentioned that the short affair occurred when he and Sinead were married and already had their son, Henry. Becoming a bit emotional, he explained how terrible and ashamed he felt the next morning. He told his wife, Sinead, the truth and admitted that he had 'messed up'. He feared that his wife would never speak to him again. He described it as the darkest chapter of his marriage and took full responsibility for his actions. He also referred to himself as selfish and admitted that he didn’t value the things he had at that time. However, after all this, Sinead forgave him, which he considered to be a blessing.
Looking back at the time, Thomas described the affair as a brief and reckless mistake that nearly ruined his life and marriage. He expressed that he has learned from his shameful mistake and now focuses on his family. Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for Amy-Lucy claimed that Amy-Lucy O’Rourke did not have a fling with Thomas Skinner but rather a relationship, and felt deceived and was treated poorly. Soon after Thomas’ interview, the beautician boss posted a cryptic note, which can be read as:
"Narcissists are crybullies. A crybully is someone who plays the victim in a situation they created."
