Priya Saroj's family and early life

Priya Saroj was born on November 23, 1998. She hails from Karkhiyaon village in the city of Lord Shiv, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The politician is the daughter of Tufani Saroj, who has been the MP of Uttar Pradesh thrice and is currently serving as the MLA of Uttar Pradesh. Priya completed her schooling at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, New Delhi, and further pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at Delhi University. She continued her journey as an academic student and attained a degree in law from Amity University. However, she soon decided to follow in her father's footsteps and joined politics. 

Priya Saroj is a Supreme Court lawyer and the youngest female MP 

Talking about Priya Saroj's career, she didn't give up on her career as a lawyer; instead, she worked rigorously and earned a spot in the Supreme Court with her hard work and dedication. However, it was her political career that made Priya famous. It was while campaigning in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls for her father.

Priya has been a member of SP for several years and, in 2024, was elected as a Lok Sabha member from Machhlishahr constituency, Jaunpur district. She claimed the seat by defeating BJP veteran, BP Saroj by over 35,000 votes at just 25 years old, marking her name in the history of politics as the youngest female MP. In addition, Priya is a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment.

Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj have been under the limelight since the reports about their relationship broke out. The couple got engaged on June 8, 2025, after a prolonged wedding buzz. However, many wonder how the duo crossed paths while being from two entirely different walks of life. Priya Saroj is the daughter of Tufani Saroj and Rinku Singh's father, Khanchandra Singh, who worked at an LPG distribution company.

Well, it was a common friend who introduced the duo. Priya and Rinku soon clicked, and over the years, their friendship blossomed into something more. After that, they decided to talk to their respective families and get married. Soon after the engagement, Priya's father revealed that the couple would be tying the knot on November 18, 2025, leaving their fans further thrilled.
