Behind every happy man is a loving partner who stands as a pillar of support, and for Hollywood star Adam Sandler, that person is his wife, Jackie Sandler, with whom he recently celebrated 20 years of marriage. While the Happy Gilmore 2 actor is known for his goofy charm and decades-long reign in the industry with his comedy, his real-life love story is nothing short of romantic fiction. Ever since their first meeting on the set of Big Daddy in 1999, Adam and Jackie have remained inseparable.
Jackie Sandler may not be as instantly recognisable as her superstar husband, but she has been a steady force behind his personal and professional success. Beginning her career as a model, Jackie later made the shift to acting and has become a recurring face in many of Adam’s films over the past two decades. From Big Daddy to The Do-Over and Murder Mystery, Jackie often pops up in minor roles, whether as a waitress, teacher, or flight attendant. In fact, Adam has an endearing tradition of sneaking Jackie into his movies, like surprise Easter eggs for his fans.
With Adam’s latest film, Happy Gilmore 2, making headlines, it’s the perfect time to take a closer look at Jackie Sandler’s journey, from her early days as a model to becoming Adam’s muse, the loving mother of their two daughters, and a charming recurring co-star.
Born Jackie Titone on September 24, 1974, in Coral Springs, Florida, her career in the entertainment industry was kick-started with modelling. However, the big turning point of her career came in 1999, when Jackie landed her first-ever role in a film, playing 'Sally' in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, produced by Rob Schneider.
That same year, Jackie returned to the screen with a small part in Big Daddy, this time playing a waitress in a local sports bar. That seemingly minor role changed her life forever, as it’s where she met Adam. And just like they show in movies, the two fell in love at first sight.

Before they knew it, sparks flew between Adam and Jackie on the Big Daddy set, and their connection only grew stronger with time. On June 22, 2003, they exchanged vows in a romantic Jewish ceremony at Dick Clark’s Malibu estate, surrounded by celebrity friends. Their dreamy and fun-filled wedding also featured Adam’s bulldog, Meatball, who donned a tuxedo and served as the ring bearer.
Before their wedding, Jackie did something that Adam once described as one of the greatest gifts of his life: she converted her faith to Judaism. On their 20th wedding anniversary in 2023, Adam expressed his love for his wife in a heartfelt Instagram post, which read:
“Your ‘I do’ was the best gift of my life. My heart has been yours since the first second I saw you... Us. The kids. Let’s keep going and going, babe.”
On their 22nd anniversary, the actor shared nostalgic clicks with Jackie and penned a heartwarming note for his beloved wife. What especially caught attention was Adam calling Jackie his ‘forever girl.’
Even after 25 years of togetherness, Jackie and Adam’s bond is unbreakable. Three years into their marriage, the couple welcomed their first child, Sadie, in 2006, followed by her sister, Sunny, in 2008. Both their daughters have followed in their parents’ footsteps and have already dipped their toes in acting. Just like their mother, they often appear in their dad’s family-friendly movies like Hubie Halloween, Hotel Transylvania, Murder Mystery, and most notably, Netflix’s You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.
Jackie has also been a part of Sandler’s TV shows, making cameos in 50 First Dates, Grown Ups, The Wrong Missy, and Hubie Halloween. n 2020, when Adam received the Film Tribute Award at the Gotham Awards, he read a speech written by his daughters that humorously acknowledged Jackie’s patience in the family, especially to keep Adam grounded through his mood swings. A part of the note reads:
“Thank you, Mommy, for putting up with Daddy and his crazy f---ing mood swings all these years. Now that truly is a feat deserving of a lifetime achievement award.”
Jackie often accompanies Adam at red carpet events, like the SAG Awards, Netflix premieres, and most recently, the Happy Gilmore 2 premiere in July 2025, where their rare PDA moment had fans swooning.
Whether it’s acting alongside her husband, raising two daughters, or cheering from the sidelines, Jackie Sandler is a steady and warm presence in Adam’s life. What are your thoughts on their loving bond?
