Ben Stiller's wife, Christine Taylor is a well-known actress, podcast host and mother of two. She rose to fame with her breakout role as ‘Marcia Brady’ in The Brady Bunch Movie in 1995. Otherwise, she made her debut on Nickelodeon’s Hey Dude, where she played ‘Melody Hanson’ from 1989 to 1991. During the next few years, she was seen in several films of her husband such as Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Tropic Thunder, and the Zoolander movies.
During a conversation with the Entertainment Weekly, Taylor once recalled her initial days in showbiz and revealed that it was one of the most fun jobs someone could ever have. Apart from her on-screen career, she has also co-hosted the nostalgic podcast, Hey Dude... The 90s Called! with her former co-star, David Lascher. It is a passion project by Christine and Ben has never failed to express his admiration for her work.
Ben Stiller met Christine Taylor on the set of Heat Vision and Jack in 1999. It was love at first sight for him and sparks flew instantly. Later in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ben revealed that the moment he met her, he immediately thought that she was ‘the one’. After a year of relationship they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on May 13, 2000, in Kauai, Hawaii. After welcoming two kids, a daughter Ella in 2002 and son Quinlin in 2005, the duo announced their separation in 2017. However, after three years the pandemic brought them back under one roof and they reconciled.
Inside his new documentary, Ben Stiller also opened up about the challenges of balancing his Hollywood career with being a father. His son Quin told him that sometimes his dad's work used to dampen the fun part of them being on a family vacation. Meanwhile, his daughter who has followed in his footsteps by pursuing acting and is often seen alongside his father admitted that she could not recall her father being around her when she grew up, reported Us Weekly. “I probably messed up more with my kids than my parents did with us. If you stay, all you can do is acknowledge the past and try to repair it. That’s what we have in our family. It’s not perfect, but that’s just life.”
