Wilson Wade Docu-Series Releasing Soon, Here’s Looking At Serial Killer Based Docu-Series On OTT

In the walk of life, we meet a countless number of people along the way with no perception of what the other person’s true intentions are. Serial killers like the Deadpool killer, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, Richard Ramirez and many more live among us fearlessly.

These killers have no idea of what is right or wrong; they commit acts in a way that makes you want to not trust your neighbour. They are the people with the darkest minds and the coldest hearts, and anyone who becomes their prey gets the cruellest, most painful, brutal death ever.

The Jeffrey Dahmer story

Jeffrey Dahmer was one such individual who was troubled since childhood, and it shaped his adult life. He never found love, companionship, or friendship in his life. All he ever did was experiment on innocent animals and roadkill with his father by dissecting them, which made him curious about the insides of the human body.

During the years from 1978-1991, Jeffrey targeted and attacked black and Asian gay young boys, 17 to be exact and gave them a death no one would have thought of. When he was caught, he became the subject of many criminal investigations and psychological studies. His case made the government amend their laws. His first murder was committed in 1978, before he even graduated high school. Neglect from his family and friends made him isolated, and he often lived alone and kept to himself.

He was a cannibalistic killer who not only lured men to his apartment but later would use them in their inebriated state, eventually killing them, decapitating their body parts and sometimes even storing their bodies in big blue drums or in his refrigerator using chemicals. The neighbours were tipped off by the horrid smell and weird drilling noises that came from his apartment every other day and often complained, but it was all in vain.

According to Dahmer, he was the only person to be blamed for his obsession with killing people, not society or his childhood. During his psychological assessing he also said that he started cannibalism as an experiment and kept the dismembered body parts as mementoes of his killers. He also took photos of each victim and kept them in his bedside drawer.

Dahmer and his victims

Police negligence came to light in this case when it was revealed that Dahmer was pulled over by the police while he was carrying plastic bags with his victims' corpses inside, and the police did not search his car. With racism being at its peak, they thought, what could a white person possibly do wrong? The second time they got a 911 call about a 14 year old boy brutally beaten up and shocked, it was Konerak Sinthasomphone, another one of his victim who managed to escape at the time but police did not pay any heed to it and let Dahmer convince him that he was his friend who had had too much to drink and he was taking him back to his place. 2 days later he was murdered by Dahmer.

Dahmer was caught on 22 July 1991, when his latest conquest, Edwards, managed to escape from his apartment and reach the police station and actually brought them along to his apartment to search it and catch the guy. Once in custody, he confessed to the 17 murders and waived his right to a lawyer. Netflix documentary on Jeffrey Dahmer gives people a fairly good look into his life and crimes.

The Ted Bundy files

Another such act of a serial killer was the case of Ted Bundy. It is another incident that makes our skin crawl. Bundy was an American serial killer and rapist in the late 20th century. Ted Bundy’s early life was far from easy. He grew up with emotional instability, a troubled relationship with his stepfather, and a naturally shy personality that often made him a target of bullying. As he grew older, however, Bundy appeared to reinvent himself. Intelligent and articulate, he performed well in college and was able to form what seemed like normal romantic relationships with women, projecting an image of confidence and charm.

Beneath this, however, lay a far more disturbing reality. Between 1974 and 1978, Bundy sexually assaulted and murdered numerous young women across several US states, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, and Florida. While he later confessed to 28 killings, investigators and experts have long believed that the true number of his victims may have been significantly higher.

His crimes eventually led to a series of highly publicised trials that captured national attention. In 1979, Bundy was sentenced to death for the murder of two college students. A year later, he received a second death sentence for the rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl. After spending nearly a decade on death row, Ted Bundy was executed in Florida’s electric chair in 1989.

Ted Bundy confession

Ted escaped custody in 1977 and is some sort of celebrity due to his charm and intelligence that drew a lot of eyeballs to the case. Hiscase angered feminist criminologists who claimed that the audience and media transformed Bundy into a romantic figure instead of the cold-blooded rapist murderer that he was. He died on January 24, 1989, January 24 in California. A documentary on his case was made and released on Netflix and other platforms, which takes the audience into the minds of those who handled the case and accused as well.

The infamous Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool Killer

Over time, people have glorified serial killers, and women have gone gaga over their looks and, in some cases, even become fans of their minds and wit. Case in point, Wade Wilson or 'Deadpool killer' that he is, commonly known as was quite popular among females. He was convicted of the murder of two women in 2019. He got the name of Deadpool killer because his name matches the name of a Marvel Universe character.

Wade was arrested on October 8  when his father shared the details of his horrific crime with the police, as Wade told him everything in detail over a phone call. When officers first picked Wilson up at an unoccupied residence he'd apparently broken into, the 25-year-old wasn't arrested on suspicion of murder.

Rather, Wilson was charged with burglary, larceny and property damage, as well as with battery for attacking a woman who was identified during his June 2024 murder trial as his then-girlfriend, Melissa Montanez, on the morning of Oct. 7 in Fort Myers. Days later, the Cape Coral Police Department confirmed that Wilson was a person of interest in the deaths of Ruiz, 43, and Kristine Melton, 35, both of whom were killed that same morning.

When Wade was convicted of the murders, a jury concluded by 2 majority votes decided thathe was to be given a death sentence, and Lee County Circuit Judge Nicholas Thompson agreed to it. "The evidence showed that both murders were heinous, atrocious and cruel," he wrote in the sentence order, obtained by E! News:

"And that the second murder was cold, calculated and premeditated."
