The actor, who has always inspired his fans about fitness, revealed that he started consuming a lot of alcohol during lockdown. He mentioned that earlier, he was not a heavy drinker but used to occasionally have a couple of drinks at parties. However, in lockdown, since Vivek had a good bar at home, he felt that if anything were to happen to him, all the expensive alcohol would go to waste. Consequently, he started drinking them one by one. Recalling the same, Vivek shared:

"My father once told me that whenever you make your house, you should have a good bar. He meant I travel extensively so I should collect drinks. I started doing that, and Divyanka and I are quite avid travelers. We used to collect limited edition bottles or other stuff. Karte karte bar accha ban gaya but we never engaged. During the lockdown, I suddenly felt that if something happened to me, what would happen to these bottles.'

However, he realised that he wouldn't be able to drink it, and out of concern, he used to sit with a glass and drink, which developed into a pattern. Sharing how it affected him, Vivek said:

"Every night, I used to sit with a glass and watch content. I would not do anything stupid, and it became a lifestyle.
