Vishal Reveals Why He Postponed His Marriage With Sai Dhanshika, Said, 'I Set A Condition To Wait..'

Kollywood star, Vishal is leading the headlines after he got engaged to his ladylove, Sai Dhanshika, on August 29, 2025. The couple exchanged rings on the occasion of his 47th birthday and delighted their fans. Earlier, it was reported that Dhanshika and Vishal would tie the knot on his birthday. And now the actor revealed the reason behind postponing their wedding.

Vishal reveals why he postponed his wedding with Sai Dhanshika

Speaking to Puthiya Thalaimurai, Vishal revealed that completing his Nadigar Sangam office was his priority. It was his dream project, and both Vishal and Dhanshika have been waiting for its completion. Speaking about the same, he stated:

“We initially wanted to marry on my birthday, but I set a condition for Dhanshika to wait until the building is opened, and she agreed. We have waited nine years for this office, now just two more months until it is completed.”

On the occasion of Vishal’s 47th birthday, the couple took to their social media handles and posted pictures from their engagement ceremony, which took place at the actor’s residence. The intimate ceremony was attended by their family and close friends. Sai looked stunning in a silk saree with a matching velvet blouse. On the other hand, Vishal looked dapper in a cream-coloured shirt and veshti.

Talking about their rings, Vishal wore a simple gold band with 'Francis M' engraved on it; the other side of the ring was not visible in the picture. Sai, on the other hand, wore three rings: a plain gold band with Vishal's name on it, a half-infinity band, and a cushion-cut diamond ring.

When Vishal and Sai Dhanshika made their relationship public

Vishal and Dhanshika made their relationship public in May 2025. During the audio and trailer launch event for her film, Yogi Da, Sai Dhanshika revealed details about her relationship with Vishal. She mentioned that she had known Vishal for 15 years, and the actor had been her constant support system. She also revealed that the couple fell in love recently and she knew that their relationship would culminate in marriage. It is also worth noting that the actress is 12 years younger than Vishal.

In the same event, Vishal confessed his feelings for his lady love, Sai Dhanshika. The actor shared that he considers himself lucky to have a wonderful person like Sai Dhanshika. Confessing his love for Sai, Vishal said:

“I am in love with Dhanshika, and I am going to get married to her. She’s a wonderful person. I am a lucky person. They say God saves the best for the last, and I believe he saved Dhanshika for me. We are going to lead a positive and lovely life.”
