If the reports are to be believed, Vijay Rupani was going to London to bring his wife, Anjali Rupani back to India. Although not confirmed, Vijay's wife, Anjali was staying in London for the last six months with their kids. However, a current report revealed that after the plane crash, Anjali immediately came back to Ahmedabad and is currently in an unsettled state. Reportedly the entire Gujarat has been mourning Vijay's demise. Talking about Anjali's career, she has been in the political field for 30 years now.

Vijay Rupani's wife, Anjali Rupani, began her career in politics by doing behind-the-scenes work in campaigns and organisations during her early years. Just like Vijay, Anjali was also associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad), the student wing of the RSS during the early days of their lives.

Anjali is a senior leader of BJP Mahila Morcha, the women's wing of this party. Anjali, although she doesn't hold a public official profile, is considered one of the influential figures in the BJP. Her work could be noticed extensively when Vijay was the CM of Gujarat from 2016 to 2021. She has been the face of several election campaigns, and she often engages in social activity with the voters.

Reportedly, once Vijay reached Anjali's home as an RSS pracharak, he, back then, used to eat in local Sangh workers' homes. Well, Anjali's father was a Sangh worker, and this is how Vijay crossed paths with Anjali. Vijay reportedly lost his heart to Anjali after seeing her for the first time. Vijay and Anjali got married in 1980 in a traditional Hindu ceremony, which was also attended by PM Narendra Modi.

In the loving memory of their late son, Vijay and Anjali set up the Pujit Rupani Memorial Trust, which is associated with charity and welfare activities. Their elder son, Rushabh, is an engineering graduate, while their daughter, Radhika, is married and currently residing in London with her husband.
