Information On Uzma Ahmed's First Husband Once Got Leaked In Her Alleged Passport, Where Is He Now?

John Abraham's movie, The Diplomat grabbed a whole lot of attention. The movie was based on the real-life story of Uzma Ahmed, who fell in love with a Pakistani man and then reached there with the wish to cure her daughter with the help of Tahir Ali. However, things took an ugly turn as she was forcefully married to Tahir and was caged in Buner. 

The role of Uzma in the movie was played by Sadia Khateeb. After the movie was released, people started digging for more information about Uzma's life. For the unversed, Uzma was married even before meeting Tahir but got separated from her first husband. Information about her first husband was once leaked.

Information about Uzma Ahmed's first husband once surfaced: Where is he now?

It was back in May 2017 when the headlines were filled with the news on Uzma Ahmed, a girl who entered the Indian High Commission office in Islamabad, Pakistan, with the request to return to India. In a photo, which was circulated back then, information about her got leaked. It was claimed to be Uzma's passport, wherein she was seen as a resident of Delhi. Well, in the name of the spouse, it was shown as 'MOHD Naushad'. Not many details about Uzma's previous husband were known, and it can't be determined whether it was his real name, as Uzma never talked extensively about her first husband, even after coming to India. So, as people had been questioning Uzma's first husband's current residential or life status, it couldn't be determined.

Uzma Ahmed fell in love with a Pakistani man, and her world turned upside down: Indian diplomat J.P Singh helped her to come back to India

For the unversed, later, in her statements, Uzma has revealed that she was earlier married to a man, with whom she had a daughter. Uzma's daughter was suffering from thalassemia, and she fell in love with Tahir Ali, a Pakistani man, while being in Malaysia for a course. Tahir promised that he would help Uzma in her daughter's treatment, and she believed him. The moment she reached Pakistan, things turned upside down. She recalled the incident in several of her statements after coming to India with the help of an Indian Diplomat in Pakistan, J.P Singh.

Uzma Ahmed shared that she got to know that Tahir was married with four kids only after reaching Buner, a place in Pakistan where normal people from that country are even scared to go. She stated that there was not even a single day when she was not tortured. She tricked Tahir into taking her to the Indian High Commission office, and after a whole lot of battle, she returned to India. J.P Singh, along with his colleagues and the late Sushma Swaraj, did everything to bring Uzma to India, and it was not an easy battle.

Where is Uzma Ahmed now?

For the unversed, Uzma Ahmed currently resides in Brahmpuri in northeast Delhi. She currently runs a beauty parlour there, which is named Falak. Apart from looking after her daughter, Uzma has also been taking care of herself. Sadia Khateeb talked to Firstpost and revealed that Uzma told her that she's healed now. Uzma once talked to the Times Of India, and revealed that she had fought all the battles by herself and her parents had been living abroad. She shared that no one from her family contacted her even when she returned to India.
