Urvashi Rautela SLAMS Trolls Calling Her 'Aishwarya Rai With 0 Charisma' Says 'I Am The Blueprint..'

Urvashi Rautela stunned everyone at the 78th Cannes Film Festival with her spread of fashion moments. The actress served some and missed some, but every look she wore made sure to get her up and front of every headline. Nonetheless, she was equally criticised for her choice of outfits, and now, the diva has clapped back.

Urvashi Rautela took to social media on May 27, 2025, and penned a note, taking a dig at the articles that called her 'Aishwarya Rai with Zero charisma'. The tag didn't sit well with the actress, who is known for her recurring fashion statements, and she made sure that everyone was aware of it. In her note, she shared that while Aishwarya Rai is iconic, she was not there to copy anyone. In fact, she was the 'blueprint' and stated:

"So apparently I'm 'trying to be Aishwarya Rai with 0 charisma'? Darling... Aishwarya is iconic. But I'm not here to be anyone's duplicate. I'm the blueprint."

Further in the note, she revealed that she was not invited to the Cannes Film Festival to blend in but to stand out. Urvashi Rautela, who is often seen in gold, silver and even diamond ensembles, took a strike at the articles and added that if her looks or her confidence was making them uncomfortable, they should take a deep breath as she was not everyone's cup of tea. She was quoted as saying:

"Cannes didn't invite me to blend in - I came to stand out. If my look, my style or my confidence makes you uncomfortable... maybe take a deep breath (or two). I'm not everyone's cup of tea - I'm more like champagne with fireworks. And charisma? Sweetheart, if you could measure it, I'd break the scale."

Urvashi Rautela, on the same note, in a very diva-like way, told the critics to keep talking and encouraging the fashion icons to keep slaying no matter what others said. She concluded with a word of advice to keep shining for herself. Urvashi's note has since garnered immense attention. The note could be quoted as saying:

"To all the keyboard critics - keep talking. To all the queens owning their space - keep slaying. To myself - keep shining, because no one does it like you."

Urvashi Rautela kicked off her Cannes 2025 appearance with an asymmetrical tube gown in a dark green hue with colourful detailing. She paired the look with a designer crystal parrot clutch from the label, Judith Liber, which comes at a massive price tag of Rs. 4,57,744. For the unversed, it was this look that fueled the comparison between her and Aishwarya Rai.

Urvashi Rautela kicked start the 78th Cannes with her peacock-inspired look. She followed the streak in an all-black textured gown for the O Agente Secreto, which unfortunately was damaged as she allegedly tried to help a 70-year-old woman. The actress donned a Romzy custom gown for her third appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. She concluded this year's Cannes with a gorgeous golden gown by Joli Poli, which she paired with a bust-shaped bikini bag from the luxury brand, Judith Leiber.
