Urvashi Rautela SLAMS Diet Sabya For Their Claims On Her Blocking The Staircase At Cannes 2025

Urvashi Rautela has been making headlines for some time now for her dazzling attendance at Cannes 2025. Be it her glam look or the wardrobe malfunction, the actress was trolled for a lot of reasons. A few days back, the fashion critic page, Diet Sabya, posted a video of Urvashi, where she was seen standing on a staircase and posing for photographs, while guests behind her were waiting. The video, that was uploaded by Diet Sabya with the caption, didn’t go well with the actress. Taking to her Instagram handle, she now hits back at the trolls.

Urvashi Rautela reveals the truth behind the claims put up by Diet Sabya

Urvashi Rautela finally broke her silence on the claims put up against her by the self-acclaimed fashion critic page, Diet Sabya. For the unversed, on May 23, 2025, Diet Sabya posted a video of Urvashi, where she was posing for photographs on a staircase, while the guests waited behind her. A text was attached to the video which can be read as, “Not the first lady blocking everyone’s way for her photo op.” Soon after the video was posted, netizens started trolling the actress to a huge extent.

Now, on May 27, 2025, talking to her Instagram handle, Urvashi spilt the beans. She penned down a long note where she mentioned that Diet Sabya had put up some 'cowardly lies' involving her blocking the staircase at Cannes 2025 for a photoshoot. The actress shared that her team took prior permission before the photoshoot and nothing was against the rules of the prestigious red carpet event. Revealing the truth, Urvashi wrote:

“To my global fans & supporters, the Cannes Festival community, and champions of truth, I rise with unyielding strength against the cowardly lies of Diet Sabya, a faceless page that dares to falsely claim I blocked a staircase. Let the truth reign: my team secured full permission for a photoshoot on a designated staircase, as did others, in strict adherence to every rule of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, which I honor with unwavering respect.”

Further in the note, Urvashi compared Diet Sabya with Diet Prada, a fashion watchdog group. She slammed Diet Sabya and stated that the page unnecessarily attacks people like her, who represent India on a global stage. The actress also stated that she had blocked the page and called on netizens to report the page. Taking a dig at Diet Sabya, Urvashi wrote:

“Diet Sabya, a cheap imitation of Diet Prada, lacks even an ounce of originality, thriving only on venomous attacks against hardworking outsiders who dare to shine. Their baseless narratives target those, like me, who elevate India's pride on the global stage. I have blocked and reported this irrelevant entity, and I call on all to dismiss their envious slander.”

At the end of the note, Urvashi mentioned that no one and nothing can dim the light she holds. She also stated the trolls can never defame her. Addressing the same, she wrote:

“My charisma, forged through relentless dedication and international acclaim, remains untouchable. No one can dim the light of Urvashi Rautela, a force that leads and inspires. No matter how hard you troll me we will never pay you like others #paidtrolls With unbreakable resolve, Urvashi Rautela.”
