Patrick Schwarzenegger is the son of Hollywood's most beloved action star, Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, distinct from his father's popularity, Patrick has carved an idenity of his own as an actor in the industry. Especially his portrayal of the troubled and complicated businessman, 'Saxon Rattif' in the popular series, The White Lotus has garnered him a lot of fame and acclaim.
After achieving widespread popularity as an actor, Patrick has now entered a new joyous chapter in his personal life with his long-time girlfriend and model, Abby Champion. Patrick and Abby tied the knot in an intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends. As the couple are united forever in holy matrimony, here's a look at Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion's relationship timeline and love story.
Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion were first reported to be dating by The Knot in 2015 after they were spotted on a supposed dinner date. Years later, in an interview with The Daily Front Row, both Abby and Patrick confirmed the timeline. The former also revealed that she was on a date with a mutual friend when she met Patrick for the first time. Abby also expressed gratitude to the friend for introducing the two to each other. The model shared:
“It was 2015! We met through a mutual friend who I was on a date with and Patrick knew. We’re thankful for him because he introduced us and that led to us getting married. He swooped in!”
A year after going steady, Abby introduced her new man, Patrick, to the world by sharing a photo of them on her Instagram page. In the photo, Patrick looked dapper in a suit and had his arms around Abby, who looked stunning in a black strappy dress. The model did not use any words in her caption while hard-launching her relationship, and only used the banana, whale and smiley face emojis to put out a cryptic message. Then, in 2018, both Abby and Patrick starred in a photoshoot for Vogue Spain, which the former posts on Instagram and calls Patrick her 'man'.
Patrick and Abby set the screens on fire with their next collaboration. They modelled for Calvin Klein with their PDA on full display. After this, Abby also visited the Schwarzeneggers for Easter 2020 and spent the holiday with them. Amid this, in an interview with E! News, the actor also revealed how supportive Abby is of his work. He also reveals how they are each other's biggest cheerleaders and shares:
“I think the best part about having her by my side is that she’s always rooting for me and wanting the best for me and bringing out the best in me. I always say that in a relationship, you have to be each other’s biggest cheerleader. Build each other up. And she does that for me.”

With a caption that says, "Forever and Ever", Patrick announces that he popped the question to Abby and she said yes. The actor proposed to his girlfriend of eight years on a beautiful beach on December 26, 2023. The ring Patrick chose for Abby had diamonds set in a 'toit et moi' design, which symbolises the intertwining of two souls. Later, in an interview with InStyle, Patrick reveals how they are not in a hurry to finalise a wedding date and are moving at their own pace. The actor said
“We’ve been together 10 years, so it’s like we’re basically married. But we’re better as humans together than we would be apart. We bring out the best in each other. I feel that I’m the best version of myself with her and I think she does as well. Every morning I go on a walk with my fiancee to the beach. It’s just us. No work, no noise. We go down there and just think about what we’re thankful for. That’s a constant in my life. I think it’s great to have a moment in your day where you can take stock.”
Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion tied the knot in Idao, U.S.A., on September 6, 2025. On the groom's side, the wedding was attended by parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, along with Katherine and Chris Pratt, his sister and brother-in-law, respectively.
