Surveen Chawla REVEALS Director Tried To KISS Her Despite Knowing She Was Married: 'I Pushed Him..'

Surveen Chawla is known for her on-point acting calibre. She is known for her performance in super hit films like Hate Story 2 and Sacred Games. However, her journey has not been easy, and she had her share of horrific meetings with directors who literally tried to force themselves upon her. Surveen revealed a shocking story of a director who tried to kiss right inside his cabin, despite knowing that she had just gotten married.

Recently, Surveen Chawla appeared for an interview with Hautterfly, wherein she talked about a shocking interaction with a director. Sharing a deeply personal story, Surveen stated that she had faced the casting couch many times in her life. Recalling a specific incident, she stated she was on Mumbai's Veera Desai Road. She was having a meeting with a director in his office cabin, and after their conversation ended, he was dropping her to the gate, when he leaned towards her and tried to kiss her. 

Surveen revealed that the strangest thing about the whole episode was that the director knew that she had recently gotten married as he talked with her about her husband. Surveen was quoted as saying:

"I will tell you a tale about Mumbai’s Veera Desai Road only. After the meeting at his office cabin, he came to see me off at the gate, and this was after I got married. And the strange thing was that we talked about this in the meeting also, he asked me how it was going and what my husband did, and it was just us speaking inside his cabin because he had a big office."

Surveen continued and revealed that she immediately pushed him back, but she was left startled. She told him never to try doing it with her. Recalling the horrific moment, Surveen said:

"So, when I came to the door to say bye, he leaned towards me, trying to kiss, and I had to push him back. I was startled and asked him what he was doing, and I just walked off."

Surveen, who is also famous for her roles in South films, revealed that she had a similar situation with a renowned Tamil National Award-Winning director. Surveen shared that she had given a screen test for 12 hours for the film and did extensive preparation from learning, performing a Tamil monologue during the audition. After the whole day of auditioning, she came back to Mumbai with a high fever. Since the director didn't know Hindi or Tamil, he had a best friend who was mediating on his behalf. 

The director told the mediator to ask if Surveen wanted him to come to Mumbai to take care of her. While the comment was shocking, Surveen thought that she might have misunderstood the director. Soon, she got a call from the mediator, who told her that the director wanted to spend more time with her. That's when Surveen got the intuition that something was fishy. However, the mediator kept moulding his words, and that's when Surveen directly told him that if the director wanted to sleep with her, then it was not going to happen. She said:

"Sir, I am sorry but you are knocking on the wrong door, I am never in for bartering myself in exchange for work."
