Suneil Shetty Reveals Daughter, Athiya BLASTED Him For Commenting On C-Section Delivery, 'I Fear..'

Suneil Shetty landed himself in deep water after his controversial opinion on C-section delivery. Women blasted him for his remarks and for judging the choice of delivery, which is actually not in the hands of a mother. Now, the actor revealed that his daughter, Athiya Shetty, also blasted him for his triggering remarks.

Recently, in an interview with Zoom, Suneil Shetty revealed that he is one of those people who avoid controversial questions during promotional activities. However, there are times when he gets the urge to answer, and he ends up making a mess. But his daughter, Athiya, straightened him up and blasted him for his comment.

Suneil Shetty revealed that Athiya reminded him not to say anything that could get them into trouble the next day. He admitted that she keeps a track of all their interviews, and she is the only person he fears. He said:

"I avoid controversial questions during promotional activities. I'm the kind of person who sometimes wants to answer, and then I mess up. And then I have Athiya at home saying, 'Papa, why did you talk? Just say no comments!' She keeps reminding me not to say anything that could get us into trouble the next day. She tracks all my interviews, and honestly, that's the only person I fear. The best thing for a man to have is a baby girl in his life."

When Suneil Shetty received flak over Athiya Shetty 

For the unversed, Suneil Shetty received a lot of hate after he boosted that Athiya chose to have a normal delivery over a C-section delivery. He called that everyone wants the comfort of a Caesarean delivery, but she decided to have a natural one. Suneil Shetty claimed that everyone in the hospital admired her strength. While talking to News 18, Suneil Shetty shared:

"In a world where everybody wants the comfort of having a caesarean baby, she chose not to do that and had a natural delivery. I remember how every nurse and paediatrician in the hospital said that it's unbelievable how she went through the whole process. That hit me as a father. I was like, 'Wow, she's ready!' Athiya was very, very strong to do that." 

Suneil Shetty made another strange comment on gender stereotypes

Later, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Suneil Shetty talked about marriage and how things become a compromise after a while. He added that after having a child, a woman needs to understand that if her husband is building his career, then she has to take care of the child. He said:

"Marriage after a while becomes a compromise where you have to understand each other. Then a child comes into the picture, and the wife needs to understand that if the husband is building his career, she will need to take care of the child. Of course, the husband will also be involved. But these days, there is just too much pressure in everything."
