Popular TV actress, Ssara Khan, who is known for her roles in Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai, Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, and Sasural Simar Ka got married to Sunil Lahiri's son, Krish Pathak. It was in October 2025 that the couple had a court marriage, and now they got married as per Hindu and Muslim traditions. The newly married pair celebrated their togetherness with grand ceremonies that had honoured both their faiths.

Ssara, in a joint post with Krish wrote:

"Qubool hai saat phere tak…Our love wrote its own script, and both our worlds said yes."

Ssara and Krish's fans have flooded the comments section with congratulations messages. The actress was earlier married to Ali Merchant back in 2010. It was in 2011 when, within a year, both of them opted for separation. Now Ssara and Krish's fan followers have been left in awe with the memorable pictures shared by the couple from their marriage ceremony.

Ssara and Krish's fans have been on cloud nine ever since they announced their marriage. It was on October 6, 2025, when they had a court ceremony after the pair had dated for a year. After their court marriage ceremony, Ssara had shared the snaps and expressed that when love takes center stage, everything else becomes a lovely subplot. Her note read:

Ssara and Krish had a civil marriage and then a social wedding as per proper rituals and customs. The actress, earlier in an interview with the Bombay Times, revealed meeting Krish on a dating app. When she had seen his snap, she immediately felt a sense of belonging towards him. Ssara and Krish soon began chatting, and the actress, the next day, told Krish that she was not looking for anything casual but wanted to settle down.

Ssara Khan reacts to being trolled for her interfaith marriage

Ssara Khan faced controversy soon after her civil marriage. This was because some of the trollers who were Muslim fanatics alleged that such a union was not allowed at all in Islam. Sara shared a clip on Instagram and reacted to the trolling and the negativity shared:

"Krish and I belong from different cultures but we believe both our religions taught us love. Our families taught us to respect others first and not to hurt anyone. And we believe the same. We think alike. Also, our families taught us respecting others and being grateful for what we have. Any relation with my God is mine, completely mine and no one has any right to come in between me and my God. My God has only taught me to love and I will only do that. "
