Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri are the power couple of Bollywood. They always manage to shell out relationship goals, even after being married for 33 years. The couple got married in 1991 and, in October, will complete 34 years of marriage. SRK, being a Muslim, and Gauri, being a Hindu, have never let their religious differences come in the middle of their lives. Now, there have been many pictures doing rounds that show that the actor may have converted Gauri to Islam religion in Mecca. They were seen performing Umrah. However, here is the truth.
There are many pictures doing roundabouts on Instagram, where Shah Rukh Khan with Gauri and Aryan Khan was allegedly seen in Mecca, which is the holy place of the Muslims. The images showed Gauri wearing a white burqa, posing with SRK, and wearing a full white cloth. In the other pictures, King Khan, with his eldest son, Aryan, was seen posing in front of a mosque wearing traditional Muslim outfits. There is no truth about the pictures, and the Khan family has fallen prey to Artificial Intelligence. A fact check has revealed that the photos are entirely fake and are AI-generated.
When the actor wrapped up the shoot of Dunki in Saudi Arabia, he jetted off to Mecca. He was seen performing Umrah at the holy city, and was seen draped in an all-white outfit. The superstar was also seen wearing a mask to protect himself from the COVID-19 pandemic. The fans of the actor were impressed by his dedication and also wished him the best for his spiritual journey. They felt emotional seeing the video and were happy seeing him fulfilling his wish of visiting the holy place.
The power couple of Bollywood tied the knot on October 25, 1991. They had a traditional Hindu wedding, and despite coming from different cultural and religious backgrounds, their marriage saw a blend of harmony and mutual respect for one another. They were blessed with three kids - Aryan, who was born in 1997; Suhana, born in 2000; and AbRam, who was born via surrogacy in 2013.

SRK and Gauri, in many interviews, have spoken about how they have maintained a balance in their interfaith marriage as they are of different religions. In an old episode of Koffee With Karan, Gauri revealed that converting to Islam was never a condition imposed on her for her marriage with Shah Rukh Khan. She expressed that she always respected SRK's religion and followed her religion. Gauri also added that the entire family celebrates Eid and Diwali equally, fervently and enthusiastically. She liked to take the lead in Diwali puja, while SRK was in charge during the Eid festivities.
During a conversation with Outlook, King Khan mentioned that his kids felt confused about their religious identity. He had said he often told his kids, like a typical Bollywood hero, they were Indians and that humanity was the biggest religion. He has always told his children to maintain respect and faith in every religion.
