Sooraj Pancholi Opens Up On Father's Affairs And Zarina Not Leaving Him, 'If She Wanted To Leave..'

Relationships in the film industry have always been complicated. Secret romances, break-ups, affairs and divorces among actors and actresses have always been the talk of the town. However, none of the relationships and marriages have been as complex and confusing as the 38 years of married life between Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab. Recently, their son, Sooraj Pancholi, whose movie Kesari Veer is running in theatres, opened up about his parent's marriage. He talked about Aditya Pancholi's affairs and why Zarina Wahab did not divorce him. Read on to know the reason. 

Sooraj Pancholi said that he would love to be like his mother and father 

In a Hindi Rush podcast, Sooraj Pancholi got candid about numerous issues that he has faced in his life. Along with the terrible time after ex-Jiah Khan's suicide and the days he spent in jail, Sooraj talked about his father's infidelity. The Kesari Veer actor revealed that his mother, Zarina Wahab held the family together. He also further stated that he would love to be a father like his dad and a good partner like his mother.

Aditya Pancholi has been rumoured to be in numerous affairs after his marriage. Zarina Wahab has also admitted to the fact that her husband has strayed in the marriage in 'phases that come and go'. The actor was also in a public relationship with Kangna Ranaut, despite being married and 23 years older than the actress. Aditya was also reportedly accused of grooming Kangna when she was just 17-18. Moreover, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror the actor had talked about 'the first time' he had hit the younger actress. 

Sooraj Pancholi said that his mother was self-made and would have left if she wanted to 

Sooraj Pancholi said that he cannot judge the arrangement between his parents. He further stated that many women do not leave their husbands since they do not have a backup. However, that was not the case for the veteran Bollywood star, Zarina Wahab. She was self-made and had four homes of her own. The Kesari Veer actor further revealed that his mother makes her own money and does not take a single rupee from Aditya Pancholi. Stating that if his mother wanted to leave, she would have done so long back, the actor revealed in the interview: 

“She’s been acting since the age of 16; she’s almost 65 now. She is self-made. She has four homes of her own. She doesn’t come from money. If she wanted to leave, she could have done it long back. Sometimes, women don’t leave because they don’t have backup… She had a route to go to Hyderabad; she has a home in Bandra also. "

Like Sooraj Pancholi, his mother had also said that Aditya Pancholi was a great father 

In an interview with Naydeep Rakshit, Zarina Wahab talked about Aditya Pancholi and 'his girlfriends'. The actress said that she doesn't care what he does outside the house since he is a great husband and father when he is at home. She admitted that she would have felt bad only if her husband would have brought his affairs home. In the interview, Zarina said: 

“I don’t care what he does outside, but when he enters the house, he is an excellent father and husband. And that’s all matters to me. I would have felt bad if only he brought his affairs home. A lot of men have affairs and still run a family. If I will start taking these things too seriously, and start fighting over it then I will suffer. I don’t want to suffer, I love myself.”
