WAVES 2025: Sobhita Dhulipala Was Spotted With Husband Chay, While She Flaunts Her Red Sindoor

The city of Mumbai is currently filled with joy and excitement with the inauguration of the first-ever World Audio, Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES). On May 1, 2025, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi officially started the four-day summit. The event featured many known faces from the entertainment industry. Not only couples from Bollywood but also celebrity couples from regional cinema joined the WAVES Summit 2025. One such couple, is the newlywed couple, Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya.

The newly married couple, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, were spotted together when the duo posed for the camera with their fan. Sobhita wore a brown-hued golden embroidered saree and paired it with a matching high-neck ornate blouse. She looked elegant as she tied a net bun and was busy flaunting her sindoor bhaari maang. While Naga Chaitanya wore a black suit. The actor looked handsome with his new haircut.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s marriage

The celebrity couple, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita, tied the knot on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. The duo got married following the Tamil-Brahmin rituals. The couple kept their relationship under wraps until their engagement on August 8, 2024. Chay was previously married to popular actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but their marriage hit a rough patch, and the two got divorced.

The love blossomed between Chay and Sobhita with an Insta story of the Naga Chaitanya. Earlier, the duo sat for an interview with the New York Times, where the couple disclosed how their love story started. Chay and Sobhita had first met around 2018 in the actor’s house. However, after their brief first meetup, the conversation between the duo started in April 2022, when Chay’s first marriage ended.

Starting with Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Deepika Padukone to regional stars like Mohanlal, Rajinikanth, and Chiranjeevi, the WAVES 2025 Summit became a star-studded event. The presence of veterans like Anil Kapoor, Hema Malini, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher, took the summit to a new level. The guest list also includes some high-profile personalities like Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Maharashtra Governor, C P Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Ministers, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. Filmmakers like Farhan Akhtar, Karan Johar, and Oscar-winner, Guneet Monga too marked their attendance at the prestigious event.

WAVES 2025 is India’s first-ever World World Audio, Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES). The event is held at the Jio World Centre, Mumbai. The four-day summit, Connecting Creators, Connecting Countries, is organised to establish India as a global hub for media and entertainment.
