The whole nation is pouring love on them for their commendable win against South Africa. Smiriti Mandhana, who is also the vice-captain of Team India, is all set to start a new chapter in her life. As per reports, Smriti will marry music composer, Palash Muchhal later this month in her hometown, Sangli, Maharashtra.

After helping India lift the Women’s World Cup trophy, the left-handed batting sensation will soon be walking down the aisle. According to reports by Anand Bazaar Patrika, Smriti is all set to marry her longtime boyfriend, Palash Mucchal. The wedding is expected to take place on November 20, 2025, just days after India’s historic World Cup victory. The event will be a close-knit affair, with only family members and a few close friends from both the cricket and film industries attending. The wedding will follow traditional Maharashtrian customs and will reportedly take place at a resort in Sangli.

A proud boyfriend, Palash, took to Instagram after India’s World Cup win and posted pictures of himself and Smiriti holding the trophy, writing, “Sabse aage hai hum Hindustani.” In his one post, he is seen holding a trophy, while in another, he is seen posing with Smiriti.  He also posted several pictures from the venue on his Instagram stories.

Fans couldn’t stop commenting on his post, while some praised Smiriti for his game, and others praised Palash for his support of Smiriti. One wrote, “Proud men for his woman is my fav genre and you, Palash, you make my heart flutter.” Another wrote, “Men hyping their women is best genre.” “Palash Sir... Was waiting for your post with the Queen and the trophy congratulations both of you” wrote one. Another user humoursly asked him to marry Smiriti soon and wrote, “Ab shadi krle bhai bs jldi.”

He has worked on several hit Bollywood songs and is also known for composing music alongside his sister, singer Palak Muchhal.
