Simple Kaul Of 'Shararat' On Her Separation After 15 Yrs Of Marriage, 'Tough But Had To Happen'

Famous television actress, Simple Kaul, left everyone in shock when she confirmed the news of her separation from Rahul Loomba after 15 years of marriage. Recently, the actress reflected on how difficult the decision to part ways with her husband was. But she had no choice, and she knew it had to happen. 

Simple Kaul opened up about her decision to divorce

Recently, Simple Kaul shared her decision to part ways with her husband and businessman, Rahul Loomba, after 15 years of marriage. The two were in a long-distance relationship, and she often missed him. Now, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Simple talked about her decision to divorce. She called it a tough one and added that her divorce has not yet been finalised. She was quoted as saying:

"I didn’t want to talk about the separation, as it is not finalised yet. I hadn’t planned on sharing about it yet as it’s tough but I knew this had to happen."

Simple got married to Rahul in 2010. However, Rahul had a busy work schedule and they were away from each other for a long time. Simple stated that she doesn't know how to express her feelings right now, but she would bounce back and be normal. She added that it would take some time. 

Simple Kaul and her husband, Rahul Loomba's divorce was a mutual one

In an interview with The Times of India, Simple revealed that her divorce from Rahul was a mutual one, and they are still a family. Simple stated that it happened recently. She also added that she is not used to it as she has been with the same person for several years. She said:

“It’s very recent. It is mutual and we are very mature humans. We’re more than family. It just doesn’t go in my head that it is done because so many years of my life I’ve known this person."

Despite parting ways, Simple added that she still lives her life with a lot of love, happiness and spiritual awareness. It is worth mentioning that Simple has not shared any specific reason for her divorce. Earlier, she described it as a long-distance marriage, as Rahul's work required him to fly abroad, while she focused on her career. Through all this, they strive to maintain a good relationship and have a great understanding. She was quoted as saying:

"He spends a lot of time abroad. I miss him at times, but we have a great understanding and our bond is very strong. At the end of the day, it is all about compatibility and balancing your life. While he is away, I am also able to focus on my career, so it is a happy work-life balance for both of us."
