Shoaib Ibrahim Becomes 'Cheerleader', Turns Wife, Dipika Kakar's Hospital Visit Into A Happy Moment

Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar are one of the most adorable TV couples. It was on the sets of the popular serial, Sasural Simar Ka, back in 2011, when the two met each other for the first time. The audience loved the chemistry of the pair, 'Prem' and 'Simar', played by Shoaib and Dipika Kakar. For the unversed, on February 22, 2018, the duo tied the knot. However, in May 2025, Shoaib shared in his YouTube vlog that Dipika had been diagnosed with a tennis ball-sized tumour in her liver. Now, on June 16, 2025, Shoaib shared an adorable moment between him and Dipika, while they were on their way to the hospital.

Taking to his IG Stories, Shoaib Ibrahim shared an adorable moment with his wife, Dipika Kakar, where he acted as the cheerleader. The video was captured by Shoaib when the couple was on their way to the hospital for a checkup of Dipika post-surgery. In the video, the couple was seen vibing on a song and laughing their heart out. For the uninitiated, Dipika underwent a 14-hour-long surgery as she was diagnosed with a tennis ball-sized tumour in her liver. On June 13, 2025, Shoaib took to his YouTube channel, and shared an update about Dipika returning back home. Now, on June 16, 2025, as they were on their way to hospital, Shoaib shared a fun time moment with his wife, Dipika and wrote:

"Doctor visit haste haste."

It was on May 15, 2025, when Shoaib took to his YouTube channel and shared the disheartening news about Dipika’s health. He shared that the latter has been diagnosed with a tennis ball-sized tumour in her liver. Sharing the heartfelt video, Shoaib also requested their audience to keep Dipika in their prayers, so that she can fight the tough phase and get well soon. Through his YouTube channel, he shared updates on Dipika’s health now and then when he got the opportunity in a critical time. Shoaib’s sister, Saba Ibrahim’s husband, Khalid Niaz also shared health updates of Dipika. In fact, Dipika’s liver tumour was cancerous. Initially, when doctors performed the tests, they couldn’t find it to be cancerous, but later the tests confirmed otherwise.

Dipika’s sudden health deterioration was a bit tougher as she has a 2-year-old son, Ruhaan. But it is worth mentioning that the little one had shown bravery during the tough phase when her mumma underwent surgery. He also paid a visit to her mom after her surgery. It was Shoaib who revealed how the toddler spent three nights in Dipika’s absence without troubling any of his family members. But one night, the little one cried, for which he was taken to the hospital. After reaching the hospital, the two-year-old met his mom and the duo talked and played with each other. During the tough phase, there was a piece of good news in the Ibrahim family. Shoaib’s sister, Saba Ibrahim who is often seen in her brother’s vlogs, has recently welcomed a baby boy with her husband, Khalid.
