She is not just a queen waiting to claim her throne, but rather she is a fashionista, who knows how to make her own name apart from just being 'Ambani's bahu'. It was on March 9, 2019, when Shloka Mehta had tied the knot with her childhood sweetheart, Akash Ambani and had added 'Ambani' to her surname. The duo knew each other when they were studying in the school. After completing their schooling, they had started dating each other. In the year 2018, Akash had officially popped the question to Shloka in Goa. The proposal was followed by a grand engagement bash and a number of high-profile events. And just like that Shloka made a special place in the hearts of millions of fans!
Recently, Shloka had attended Bollywood actor, Armaan Jain's wedding reception with her husband, Akash Ambani. The diva looked super elegant in a pistachio green lehenga with a flurry crop top from the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's collection. On February 14, 2020, the official Instagram page of the designers shared an unseen picture of Shloka. In the picture, we can see her looking elegant as ever. The outfit was a perfect pick for a reception bash, where you can let your hair down and dance your heart out. The designer duo captioned the picture as "Sitting pretty! Shloka Mehta Ambani is utterly romantic in this custom @abujanisandeepkhosla. The skirt is hand embroidered in lotus pond applique. @shloka11." Check it out below:

Coming back to Shloka's fashion sense, the Ambani bahu believes in keeping it simple yet striking and there isn't any designer ensemble that she cannot carry with an ace. A few months ago, we had shared a picture of Sholka from the year 2015. And oh boy, we loved how gorgeous she looked in a no-makeup look. In the picture, we could see Shloka Mehta with her sister, Diya Mehta Jatia and their close friend posing with the ace designer, Manish Malhotra. All the gorgeous ladies were looking beautiful in Manish's couture.

For those who don't know, Shloka never had any interest in her father, Russell Mehta's diamond business. In an interview with ETPanache, she had talked about the same and had said, "I’ve never had an interest in the business. I think the diamond industry is not very friendly to women. It’s changing but most women typically become jewellery designers or they work in human resources...those kinds of roles. I don’t think that I have the creative aesthetic sense to be a designer."
Talking about her love story with Akash Ambani, in an interview with The Times of India, she had revealed how years and busy schedule never came in between their love. Shloka had shared, "Despite years and busy schedules, we have always found ways to stay connected. Akash is incredibly grounded and we share a bond based on meaning and memories. We don’t just get along – we also support each other’s hopes and aspirations and are determined to build a sense of purpose into our lives together. We are lucky to have a love that began from being best friends, and luckier still to have such supportive families."
