Shivangi Joshi-Kushal Breakup REASON: Angry Fans Call Out 'Fake Posts', After They Unfollow On IG

Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon, who found a strong connection while shooting for their OTT show, Barsatein - Mausam Pyaar Ka, have suddenly called it quits. The buzz about their breakup surfaced after two years of being together. Their eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed that the duo had unfollowed each other from their Instagram handle. Soon, a series of IG stories from Kushal's IG account surfaced on the internet. While some thought it to be a confirmation, others speculated the authenticity of the posts. It is worth mentioning that the couple have not yet opened up about their separation. 

Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon's breakup reason?

In one of the IG stories, which is said to be posted from Kushal's account, the actor confirmed his breakup with Shivangi. He further stated that they parted ways five months ago. However, it was the follow-up IG stories that proved the posts were fake, and Kushal has not shared any such thing on his social media.

In the fake post shared on a Reddit page, it claimed that Shivangi left him as she got a new beau. The Reddit thread posted a series of screenshots of IG stories, which Kushal reportedly shared, and he deleted them later. But their fans slammed the thread and pointed out that it was fake, as Kushal could never write such things. 

One user wrote, "2nd one was not written by him. People are literally editing this shit to shame Shivangi and blame him." Another wrote, "The second one is edited. Why tf is he getting unnecessarily framed like this?!!" A third user penned, "They Deffoo haven't broken up. This seems like a pr thing for her new show cuz it doesn't have much hype anyway. This is their way to create hype for her and give sympathy. I'm pretty sure they’re still tgt."

Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi allegedly ended their relationship

According to media reports, both Kushal and Shivangi have unfollowed each other from their Instagram handles. The couple has been together for over a year, and they never hide their relationship from the public eye. Lately, they have stopped interacting with each other on social media. Their fans noticed how Kushal did not even wish Shivangi for the premiere of her upcoming show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3. There are also claims that Shivangi might have blocked Kushal, as his likes and comments have disappeared from the actress' Instagram posts. 

When Kushal confirmed his relationship with Shivangi

Last year, in an interview with ETimes, Kushal Tandon talked about his wedding plans with Shivangi Joshi. The actor didn't hide the fact that he is in love, but he is not getting married anytime soon. Kushal added that his parents eagerly want him to get married, but he is taking it slow.

Kushal further added that the best part about all this is that his parents' search for a suitable girl has ended. Kushal was quoted as saying:

"I am not getting married right now but I am definitely in love. We are taking it very slow. My mother desperately wants to see me married and unka bas chale toh meri shaadi aaj hi karwa dein. And waise dekha jaye toh kuch bhi ho sakta hai, kabhi bhi. But the best part is that the search for a suitable girl for me by my parents has stopped now."
