Shehnaaz Gill 'Won't Get Married'? The 'Ikk Kudi' Producer Says 'Giving Your Entire Life To A Boy..'

Shehnaaz Gill rose to fame with her appearance in Bigg Boss 13 and won over everyone's hearts. However, she also found a special someone during her stint on the show; the actress formed a deep connection with Sidharth Shukla, and their fans even gave them the couple name 'SidNaz'. Nonetheless, destiny had a cruel plan, and Sidharth passed away on September 2, 2021. While the actress has since grown immensely professionally, it seems like the incident changed her views on personal relationships, and especially marriage.

Shehnaaz Gill doesn't want to get married

Shehnaaz Gill recently sat for a candid conversation with IANS, during which she shared her views on marriage. The Ikk Kudi actress, when asked about marriage, said she has no plans to get married. She revealed that while she won't completely rule it out, it's not something she had been hoping for. Ikk Kudi marks Shehnaaz's debut as a producer. The film depicts a woman's struggle to find the right partner. Written and directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the film was released on October 31, 2025. She was quoted as saying:

"Marriage is not important. If you don’t have to do it, it’s okay. People get married. It’s okay. Even though I feel that I won’t get married, I can’t say that I will never say never. Maybe I’ll have to do it tomorrow. I have to make the right decision for myself."

Shehnaaz Gill gained prominence with her stint on Bigg Boss 13. The actress addressed how marriage was not just about love but also a decision that could impact a person's entire life. In the same conversation with IANS, Shehnaaz reflected on how marriage means giving up your home and your individual life. She was quoted as saying:

"You are giving your entire life to a boy after leaving your parents’ house. You are doing everything for him, it’s a big decision… You are giving your entire life to a boy after leaving your parents’ house. It’s different. You don’t know who will be your partner. You don’t know. So, let’s see what happens."

Shehnaaz Gill on the work front

In Bollywood, she was last seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles. Shehnaaz made a special appearance in the song, Sajna Ve Sajna. It was in 2015 when Shehnaaz began her modelling career with a music video titled, Shiv Di Kitaab. In 2017, she marked her debut in the Punjabi film, Sat Shri Akaal England. The actress has built a rich filmography for herself, including projects such as Kala Shah Kala, Daaka, Honsla Rakh, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Thank You For Coming. 

Apart from films, Shehnaaz Gill has also appeared in several songs, including Maar Kar Gayi, Pindaan Diyaan Kudiyaan, Je Haan Ni Karni, Putt Sardaran De, Lakh Laanhta, Viah Da Chaa, and Habit. In the near future, Shehnaaz will appear on Sab First Class.
