Shefali Jariwala's shocking demise on June 27, 2025, serves as a poignant reminder that life is fragile and that one should live each moment happily without regrets. At the age of 42, Shefali suffered a cardiac arrest and took her last breath in the late hours. She looked perfectly normal, and it is reported that she had a cardiac arrest due to the sudden drop in blood pressure. Now, as per reports, it is believed that Shefali was signed up for Karan Johar's superhit show, The Traitors.
According to a report by Telly Chakkar, it has been revealed that Shefali Jariwala was finalised for Karan Johar's hit show, The Traitors. Everything was finalised, but at the last moment, she was replaced by another contestant. Hence, she wasn't part of the show, which has incited a lot of excitement in the audience. It is worth mentioning that Shefali made headlines when she appeared on Bigg Boss 13, which was a highly successful season of the reality series.
Karan Johar wore his hosting cape in the Indian adaptation of the internationally acclaimed thrilling reality series, The Traitors. The show features 20 celebrity guests who play a game of wits and deception. At the start of the show, three traitors are assigned, and they must secretly murder the other contestants. Meanwhile, the rest of the contestants must find the traitor and vote them out.
At the age of 42, Shefali took her last breath, and the cause of her death was cardiac arrest, which happened due to a drop in BP. Amidst it, her longtime doctor claimed that Shefali had been on anti-ageing treatment for the past six to seven years. Her friend, Pooja Ghai, also revealed that Shefali took vitamin C drips and stated that it was normal in her profession to maintain youthful skin.
Shefali Jariwala's best friend shared what actually happened. In an interaction with the journalist, Vickey Lalwani, Shefali's close friend, Pooja Ghai, shared that Shefali had taken an IV drip on the day of her death. She would take vitamin C, as it had become a common practice among those who had recovered from COVID-19.

After Shefali's funeral, Parag submerged her asthiya in Juhu beach. In a video, Parag was seen holding asthiya (remains of a person's body after cremation). He was seen crying inconsolably as he held the phool of his wife close to his heart, and the emotional moment left everyone in deep pain. Later, the actor performed the asthi visarjan of his wife, Shefali. It was an emotional moment, and his family was there to support him.
Parag carried the parthiv sharir of Shefali during her funeral. He was even seen kissing his sweetheart goodbye for one last time. The actor broke down while leaving the crematorium after the funeral. However, he made sure to address the media and requested them to pray for his 'pari'. With folded hands, Parag Tyagi said:
"Meri pari ke liye pray kijiyega aap sab log, please."
If Shefali would have been part of the The Traitors her fans would be the happiest.
