According to reports, she was rushed to the hospital by her husband, Parag Tyagi, and three others but was declared dead on arrival. After midnight, Parag was seen heartbroken after the devastating incident.
As fans are trying to come to terms with the untimely loss, many are revisiting her adorable love story with her husband, Parag, which is a beautiful tale of second chances and deep companionship.
Shefali Jariwala was born and brought up in Mumbai. After completing her education, she made her way into showbiz and got a breakthrough with the pop song, Kaanta Laga in the early 2000s. During the same time, Shefali tied the knot with music director, Harmeet Singh of the popular musical duo, Meet Brothers. They had tied the knot in 2004, but things went downhill after a while, and they parted ways in 2009. The end of her first marriage left the actress emotionally guarded, and she wasn't sure if she could ever fall in love again with someone.
Despite the initial hesitation of Shefali Jariwala, fate had other plans for her. She met her husband, Parag Tyagi, through a mutual friend at a party. He is known for his work in shows in Pavitra Rishta and Jodhaa Akbar. What started as usual conversations slowly turned into a warm friendship. Although the actress had her initial reservations about the bond, Parag's gentle and caring nature won over Shefali. He stood by her through thick and thin, respected her, valued her, and didn't rush their bond, which gradually blossomed into love.
Shefali Jariwala created a modern, confident, and bold on-screen image for her after her iconic song, Kaanta Laga. But, it was Parag who saw her real personality behind the image and immediately fell in love with her. The Mujhse Shaadi Karogi actress's love and care for Parag's family further impressed him, and they soon got engaged. In an interview with Masala, the actor once described what made him fall for Shefali and said:
"Shefali is a sweetheart. When her music video was out, people had another image of her, but she was completely the opposite of her screen image. She is a girl any guy would love to have as a wife. She is very caring, and it shows. To judge a person, you need to look into what is happening in his or her home. She loves her parents and looks after them like a son would. She also looks after my parents."
