Shefali Jariwala's Last Rites Held In Mumbai, Shehnaaz Gill, Mika Singh, Arti Singh And More Arrive

Shefali Jariwala, who was popularly known as the 'Kaanta Laga Girl', was laid to rest on June 28, 2025, in Mumbai. The actress and reality TV star had suddenly passed away, leaving the entertainment industry in shock. Some media reports claim that Shefali passed away due to a cardiac arrest at 42, but the authorities are still investigating the case to confirm the news. Meanwhile, the demise of Shefali, who had a vibrant presence and was active on her social media handle, has left a void in the hearts of her loved ones who came to pay their final respects to her.

Shefali Jariwala's mortal remains were taken from the Cooper Hospital to her residence after a post-mortem, where several celebrities arrived to pay their final respects. Given her marital status, her mortal remains were covered in red cloth and taken to the Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai. Coincidently, her fellow Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Sidharth Shukla's final rites were held at the same place. Shefali's parents look devastated at the occasion.

Several friends and celebrities of Shefali Jariwala arrived at her residence and later at the crematorium to offer condolences and support to her grieving family. Among these were her fellow Bigg Boss 13 contestants, Shehnaaz Gill, Mahira Sharma, Paras Chhabra, Arti Singh and Vikash Fatak a.k.a Hindustani Bhau. At the same time, some other celebrities like Mika Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan, among others, arrived at the crematorium. Later, the pandit ji confirmed that the actress's final rites were completed and a small puja would be held on June 29, 2025.

Shefali Jariwala's husband, Parag Tyagi makes a heartfelt request to the media 

Shefali Jariwala's husband, Parag Tyagi, accompanied her to the hospital on the night of June 27, 2025, where she was declared dead. Since then Parag has been accompanying the authorities in the investigation and made arrangements for her funeral. During all these moments, paps took his photos and videos. The actor looked visibly devastated as he accompanied her mortal remains from Cooper Hospital to their home and later to the Oshiwara crematorium. After performing the last rituals, Parag spoke briefly to the media and requested privacy and prayers. He said:

“Please mere Pari ke liye pray kijiye aap sab log.”

Shefali Jariwala was rushed to the Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital on the night of June 27, 2025, after 11 pm. But, she was declared dead upon her arrival. A report from The Times Of India has claimed that the actress passed away due to a cardiac arrest. Still, there is no confirmation about the same from her family or hospital authorities. Her body was sent for a post-mortem, and its reports are awaited to confirm the cause of her demise. Several celebrities like Aly Goni, Himanshi Khurana, Ashish Vidyarthi, Raza Murad and more offered their condolences to the actress's family through their social media handles.
