Famous Kaanta Laga girl, Shefali Jariwala's sudden death on June 27, 2025, made everyone wonder how fragile life is, and no one knows when it is their last breath. The 42-year-old actress, who was at the prime of her health, passed away. The initial postmortem report concealed the cause of death. Later, her doctor claimed that she was on anti-ageing treatment for a few years. Now, her best friend, Pooja Ghai, revealed more details about the day when Shefali passed away.
In a recent interview with a journalist, Vickey Lalwani, Shefali's close friend, Pooja Ghai, shared that Shefali had taken an IV drip on the day of her death. She would take vitamin C, as it had become a common practice among those who had recovered from COVID-19. She revealed that they had a beautiful Satya Narayan puja, followed by a regular dinner, and then Shefali asked her husband, Parag, to walk the dog. However, soon Parag was called up by their helper, as something strange happened with Shefali. Parag told the helper to come down and walk their dog, and in the meantime, something happened with Shefali. She was able to open her eyes, and had pulse. Talking about it, Pooja said:
"On that day, she did take the drip, the vitamin C. But like I said, it’s a very normal thing to take a vitamin C. I mean, we all take vitamin C, right? I think post-COVID people have just started taking vitamin C as regularly as possible. And vitamin C is something I take as well. So it’s a very normal thing."
Pooja further added that police inquired at the scene and even called the guy who gave her the IV drip, who was called out. She said:
"While I was standing there, the police guys called for the guy who gave her the IV drip to just check what was the medicine that she was taking, and that’s when it was unfolded that she had taken an IV drip."
Shefali's friend, Pooja, also discussed the rumours surrounding her anti-ageing treatment. She stated that it was common in the entertainment industry. Pooja added that it was also common in Dubai. She said:
“It’s so common. In fact, if you walk down the streets here in Dubai, you see multiple vitamin C drips at regular clinics and salons. She was in a profession where she had to be her best, and she was her best. She looked the best."
Initially, Shefali Jariwala's longtime doctor talked about her health condition in an interview with ABP News. The doctor revealed she had no serious medical condition and wasn't on heart-related medication.
