He believes in staying grounded. Shahid also doesn't party and loves spending time with his wife, Mira Kapoor and their kids, Misha and Zain. Recently, Shahid opened up about the fake PR couples, and fans wonder if he was taking a dig at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

Recently, a video of Shahid Kapoor from his recent appearance on YouTuber Raj Shamani's podcast went viral. The actor revealed how he was trolled by people for taking care of his wife, Mira, in public. When he, out of courtesy picked up her gown opened the car door for her, and people trolled him stating, "Dekhna yaar biwi ke peeche aise pada rehta hai."

Shahid stated that he doesn't care about trolls, as it is his emotions that count. But yes, if he was doing it to show off in front of four photographers, then it shows. Taking a dig at PR couple, who do it, Shahid said:

"But agr mai vo dikhane ke liye 4 photographers khade hai aur mai dikhane ke liye kar raha hoon. Toh vo dikh bhi jata hai un cheej mein fark dikh jata hai. How long will you fake it. There was a time where you could fake it because there was a limited exposure, because now everything is 24*7. But even if you are doing it on daily basis whom you are becoming."

As soon as the video was shared on Reddit, fans shared their opinions. While some didn't agreed with Shahid, others gave a thumbs up to him calling out the fake PR couples. One user wrote, "Not gonna lie .. I do find Ranveer Singh and Deepika PR camera husband wife thing so annoying d fake ... It's like u can literally tell it's fake zz just stop it ...however shahid should concentrate on his acting instead of taking dig on other actors."

Another one commented, "Lmao Shahid is forever salty about Ranveer. Move on bruhh." A third user expressed how Shahid was upset as he wanted to be the main character and he is upset about it decades later, "Slb shoots and directs a cinematic masterpiece ..this. Manchild wants to be part of the film but his ego is so big he wants to the main character energy....he doesn't get it and still crying decades after...don't remember him coming forward and supporting dp when she was getting death threaths...that time he went radio silent, now he wants to hop on the hate train.."

When Shahid took a dig at Ranveer and Deepika and how they made him feel lesser

In the same podcast with Raj, Shahid revealed that he was made to feel less important before his film, Kabir Singh, was released. In a viral clip from the same episode, Shahid was quoted as saying:

"Kabir Singh ke pehle hua tha mere saath. Mujhe aise feel hua tha, main specifics mein nahi ghusunga ke I am lesser, mujhe aisa mehsoos karaya gaya jabardasti nahi kiya kisine."
