Shah Rukh Khan's Witty Reply To A Troll Suggesting Retirement Wins Hearts, 'Temporary Retirement...'

Shah Rukh Khan, who is often known as 'King of Bollywood', recently did an ask me anything session on the social media platform, X (formerly Twitter). During that session, SRK cleverly responded to a troll, who age-shamed him and suggested that he should take retirement. SRK's witty reply won a lot of hearts online.

On August 16, 2025, the Jawan actor indulged in an AMA session, where fans were invited to ask him anything. During the fun session, a troll dared to age shame Shah Rukh Khan and told him to retire from acting. The troll had commented, "Bhai ab Umar hogyi retirement lelo dusre bache logo ko aage aane do." Shah Rukh Khan found this as a childish question and replied back to him:

"Bhai tere sawaalon ka bachpana jab chala jaaye…Phir kuch acchha saa puchna! Tab tak temporary retirement mein reh please."

Pathaan actor, Shah Rukh Khan gave the best surprise to his fans on the evening of August 16, 2025, when he posted a sweet message on his X handle, inviting fans for a Q&A session. He mentioned that, he is in a good mood, so for around 30 mins he will be answering fans' questions. He also requested for the questions to be fun as he is recovering from an injury. He wrote:

"Saw the rain outside…mostly easy….so felt like sharing the next half hour or so with you all. If u have the time let’s do an #AskSRK. Fun questions and answers only…please, as I am recovering from an injury…so…"

Shah Rukh Khan got injured during an action sequence for King

During the filming of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming action-thriller film, King, he injured his shoulder and back. Even though, his injury was not that serious, it still needed immediate medical help, and it led to a temporary pause in the shooting of the film. For his treatment, SRK reportedly flew to the United States, and as of now, he is advised to take a one-month rest.

The film was expected to release in 2026, but after the delay, the release might get pushed.
