Shah Rukh Khan is undoubtedly one of the finest actors in the Hindi film industry. With his presence of nearly three decades, SRK has been ruling the entertainment world, impressing his fans to the fullest. From power-packed action to drool-worthy romance, Shah Rukh Khan has nailed every role with perfection. However, once, the actor raised many eyebrows, when he declared himself as the most versatile Indian actor.
Recently, a Reddit user shared a throwback video of Shah Rukh Khan from the promotion of his film, Jab Harry Met Sejal, with his co-star, Anushka Sharma. In the clip, which dates back to 2017, SRK can be seen talking about his versatility and claiming that he is the most versatile actor India has ever seen. He was heard saying:
"As a matter of fact, even though people wouldn't believe it, I want to declare that I'm the most versatile actor this country has ever seen, with due respect to everybody who's acted in this country. You know, I've done a Asoka, I've done a Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, I have done a Paheli, I've done a Chak De India, I have done a Dilwale Dulhaniya, I have done a Chamatkar, and you keep on counting, and I've done enough genres."

Not just this, Shah Rukh Khan even mentioned how he changed the dynamics of Indian cinema by playing the role of a bad guy for the first time in history. The actor also went on to add that he also played the character of a fan, which was a mentally disturbing experience for him. However, SRK called himself lucky that being a big star, nobody noticed his acting and said:
"Given the parameters of commercial cinema when normally people only played hero types. I have always come and played the actor hero type at least to give some character to the hero, instead of just being a hero. And I'm lucky enough that those have also been accepted as a hero. But I don't know, I have never really gone out. Yeah, in Raees I come out of smoke, I enter Don like a king, I jump from a plane, I fight, I romance, I beat up people, I get beaten up. I played the bad guy, which nobody else had done when I started, and I still do it given a chance. I've done a Fan, which is a completely, strangely, mentally disturbing space. But I'm lucky to be such a big star that nobody's noticed my acting yet. I'm really really happy. I love it."
Now that the old video surfaced online, netizens left no stone unturned to troll SRK for his arrogant behaviour. They bombarded the comment section to school the actor for exaggerating the facts and reminded him of Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, who have done way more roles than him. Schooling SRK, a user penned, "I know I'll be downvoted for this but SRK comes across as an extremely overconfident person and sometimes arrogant too. Just chill there are a lot of actors who have a better filmography and keep experimenting with their movies. He is a superstar but calling himself the most versatile actor in the country is a stretch."
