While growing up, we have a plan on how we look our life 10 years down the line and our mind is full of dreams and desires. You might not be that ‘Sharma ji ka ladka’ as everyone has a different path, their own journey but what one must keep in mind is to cherish every single milestone. Be it the first time you won an award (even a participation certificate), your boards' results, your graduation day, your first paycheck or the first time you met the love of your life, every milestone holds a special place in your journey, which must be cherished and celebrated in your life. Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan is an exemplar of how one must celebrate their life, not only the best phase but also how to cherish the bad ones too. Opinionated, sassy and unapologetic Sara had made her debut in the industry like a fresh breath of air and is the most down to earth star kid we have ever come across with. More than her inspirational fat-to-fab journey, we love Sara for being comfortable in her skin and proudly flaunting her throwback days when she was overweight with the same confidence with which she flaunts her perfectly toned body.
Sara Ali Khan loves revisiting the past and often treats her fans with throwback photographs from her archives. Just a while back, Sara posted two pictures from her graduation ceremony at the Columbia University and it’s quite evident that her happiness knew no bounds on this special day. Sara captioned the pictures as “19th May 2016 Sometimes this feels like a minute ago, and sometimes it feels like another lifetime #columbia #university #graduation #almamater #4yearsold.”
Sometime back, a video from Sara Ali Khan’s graduation ceremony had emerged on social media. Sara had completed her schooling from Dhirubhai Ambani International School and when she had graduated from there, it was her proud parents, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, who had turned out to be her loudest cheerleaders. As Sara made her way to take the certificate from Nita Ambani, she had waved to her parents, who were sitting in the audience section.

In 2019, the makers of Koffee With Karan had released an Unseen Koffee Konfessions episode which was a compilation of ‘undekha’ rapid-fire and revelations. This had made us wonder why those were removed from the original telecast as they were so interesting! In a clip from Sara Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s episode, the father-daughter duo had talked about the time when they had dinner together along with Amrita Singh. Reminiscing the last time, he had met his first wife, Amrita, Saif had said, "In Columbia, when we went to drop Sara to the University. We had dinner together in New York." Sara Ali Khan had pitched in and said, "It was nice. I was going to college and mom had come to drop me and Abba was also there. Actually, my father and I were having dinner and then we decided to call my mum, and she came. We had a good time. And then they set me up in college together, I remember. And it was actually quite a sight because you were seeing, you know, Amrita Singh, and for those of you who know her, it's a funny sight, like, making my bed and Saif Ali Khan putting the bulb in the lamp. It was really nice and I really cherish that."
In an interview with a media portal, Saif Ali Khan had shared that he has always been proud of his daughter, Sara Ali Khan and he is really happy with the way his ex-wife, Amrita Singh had raised the kids. He had stated, "It's entirely her achievement. I was a proud father even when she got into Columbia University and graduated in two years. I'm proud when I see her interacting with the staff at home. She's so well behaved, full credit to her mother (Amrita Singh). Sara's intelligent, well-spoken and charming."
Sara Ali Khan’s IG profile is filled with unseen throwback pictures from her family album. Be it some goofy moments with her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, cherishable moments with mommy, Amrita Singh or the proof that filmygiri runs in her blood with her childhood pictures, Sara treats her fans with some golden memories from her hidden archives and April 27, 2020, was no different. Dressed in a gorgeous yellow and black lehenga choli with jewellery accentuating her look, Sara had captioned her pictures as "Mere sapnon ki raani hamesha main hi thi." Sara had, very cleverly, given her grandma, Sharmila Tagore’s song, Mere Sapnon Ki Rani a twist, which sounded like Kareena Kapoor Khan’s dialogue, ‘Main Apni Favourite Hoon’!
