Sanjay Dutt Dances With Wife, Maanayata At A Wedding, Netizens Say 'Mereko Laga Madhuri Dixit Hai..'

Sanjay Dutt was recently spotted performing at the sangeet ceremony of Sonam Fabiani's sister, Sarina Vaswani Hemlani. The actor was accompanied by his wife, Maanayata Dutt, and the duo left the entire internet in awe with their adorable dance moves and impeccable chemistry. However, their loving dance was not the only thing that the netizens noticed. They were left stunned by how much Maanayata resembled Madhuri in the video.

The star-studded event took place early in June 2025, and the videos from the same have now taken over the internet. In the circulating clips, Sanjay Dutt can be seen looking dapper in a blue sherwani with golden embroidery. While Maanayata looked gorgeous in a blue lehenga with intricate work all over the outfit. Her hair was tied in a neat bun. The duo danced to the track, Meri Duniya Hai, from Sanjay's film, Vaastav. The song was voiced by Jatin-Lalit, Sameer Anjaan and Sony Nigam. 

Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata left the crowd cheering as the actor lovingly kissed his wife's forehead at the end of the song. However, that was not the only part that the netizens noticed. The video was shared on Instagram by Kaykasshan Patel and has now gone viral on the internet, showing a stark resemblance between Maanayata and the gorgeous actress who ruled Bollywood in the 90s, Madhuri Dixit.

As soon as the video was re-shared by Viral Bhayani on their Instagram handle, the netizens lost their cool, as they noticed not only the video was wholesome, but Maanayata also looked a lot like Madhuri Dixit in the clip. A user said, "Mereko laga Madhuri Dixit hai." Another penned, "First look mein to Madhuri lagi thi!" A comment read, "Bilkul Aisa laga jaisa Madhuri Dixit ka saath performance de ho." A commenter said, "I thought it was Madhuri Dixit."

While other Instagram users praised the couple for their loving performance. A user said, "Men in love." While another penned, "Both of them look like they are made for each other." Several users dropped heart emojis, and some were left surprised to see Sanjay Dutt dance.

Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit's relationship is not an unknown chapter in Bollywood or its fans. Though the duo never admitted the same, it is said that they became close during the shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi and since appeared in several films together, their on-screen chemistry fueling the rumours of their relationship. However, the bond was never fructified as Sanjay was married to Richa Sharma, who was undergoing treatment in the USA at the time. Their relationship further broke down with Sanjay's arrest in connection with possession of arms and the Mumbai blast. While Sanjay moved on and married Rhea Pillai, Madhuri married Dr. Shriram Nene.

Sanjay Dutt married Maanayata Dutt, born Dilnawaz Sheikh, in a registered marriage in Goa in 2008 after dating for two years. In the same year, the couple tied the knot according to a Hindu ceremony. For the unversed, Sanjay was previously married to Rhea Pillai, but they separated in the early 2000s and got a divorce in 2008. Sanjay and Maanayata welcomed twins in October 2010. Maanayata has stood by Sanjay through the thick and thin of his life, including his time in jail. The duo follow both Hindu and Islamic customs in their household.
