Kartik Aaryan is riding high and has been celebrating the success of his latest offering, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Now, producer Sandeep Singh, who has claimed to be an old friend of the actor, has alleged that Kartik does not even pick up the producer's phone. He has claimed to have introduced 'Rooh Baba', a.k.a Kartik, to top producers in the industry, which also includes Ramesh Taurani and Bhushan Kumar.
During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sandeep revealed that he and Kartik had spent years together travelling, drinking and eating until the actor became a superstar. Sandeep was upset because he wanted a suggestion from the actor, who did not seem to have time. In his words:
"Mera ek dost tha, woh aaj bahot bada star hai. Aur humlog saalon sath me khaye-piye, ghume, jab tak woh star nahi ban gaya. Ek ek suggestion lena... Aur ab, woh phone pe baat bhi nahi karta, reply bhi nahi karta."
The producer then said that he used to hang out with Kartik, give him advice, and he was the one who introduced Kartik to Bhushan and Ramesh. He told the actor to be patient and gave him suggestions on what to do and what not to do. Sandeep had also sent a last text to Kartik which reads, "Gubbara jab phool jata hai, pehle kya tha bhool jata hai." Sandeep, in the interview, added further:
"Failure jab the, tab toh mera ungli pakad ke chalte the sath. Safalta ke baad, phone number toh wahi raha, woh khud badal gaye bhai."
In an earlier interview with the Republic, Sandeep said that he had sent Kartik for the trailer of his movie, Safed, which also had Mira Chopra, but he had not spoken about the same. Sandeep is known for producing movies like Mary Kom, Aligarh, Sarabjit, Bhoomi, PM Narendra Modi, and Jhund. The producer had hopes that Kartik would tell him that he would want to work with Sandeep after he became a star. Sandeep called Kartik controlling and added:
"He had come to become an actor, but he has become a control freak. He’s actually a very nice guy, but success has gone to his head.”
Sandeep also had his and Kartik's old pictures to the actor, but reportedly, Kartik did not care to acknowledge the same. Sandeep also noted that time changes but relationship stay the same.
